No hate but thats not true. The Crying Child's name has never been confirmed. People have given C.C. (Crying Child) many names, Chris and Evan being the most popular. Chris came from C.C. as it starts with the same letter and it fit the kid. Evan came from the books (Evan Mcnally). It is theorized that Evan from the books could possibly be C.C. as they both have an older brother named Michael and they are both connected to William Afton (William is C.C.'s dad while Evan's son, Jake, is enemies with William). @@mayazakholiactually not true (im literally a freak for fnaf and i started analysing everything from the games) In FNaF 2, WE play as Jeremy Fitzgerald, a night guard at Freddy Fazbear's. On night 6, phone guy says this to us aka Jeremy Fitzgerald: "...we may have to move you to the dayshift. A position just became... Available" That line lets the player know that in 1987, in fnaf 2 on night 6, the bite of '87 happened. He was then moved to the day shift as they were missing a guard. Thats also why on night 7 you play as Fritz Smith and not Jeremy Fitzgerald
