Lived in Columbia for 1 year sold everything in usa after 3 years moved back spent a fortune to buy back what I sold, so move to Panama but keep your life in usa don't sell everything
I think that is the best piece of advice I've heard. Gotta keep those roots back home.
Peruvians go to America because they think US is still the land of opportunities and also they're looking for stability that all political problems and bad immigration have brought. They're hard workers so they're sure everything will be ok abroad. It's not because of we have "just corruption" like in anywhere in Planet has it, even in the US, or because of we have no "good" jobs, it's not true at all. Otherwise, Peruvians think in the US they could earn a lot of money and certainly a lot of them they do and some of them invest this money in Peru also. In the last recent years, most of people who are leaving Peru are the middle class, well educated people, good for US bad for our country. Cheers.-
Great information. I think what you say is correct. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Friendly remember you’re an immigrant and not an expat
Sure
@ ok buddy, calling yourself an “ex patriot” doesn’t change the fact that you’re an immigrant to Peru
I didn't call myself an expatriate buddy
@@danbazley5445 My comment shouldn’t concern you then since you’re not the one I commented towards
You need to stop this nonsense @@edgarespino3005
Move from Comifornia to Peru. The Amazon region. Crimes is almost nom existent here, food has no chemicals, no hormones, delicious. Women are hot here. Parties are great. Cost of living is cheap. With 1000$ u can live as a confortable, healthy, u can even have a maid.
This is amazing. I have heard good things about the Amazon region as well. Good to hear!
Did you encounter bears on the hike ? Would you recommend bear spray ?
Never seen a bear in that area. And I'd only recommend spray if you went in early spring. Otherwise just make plenty of noises because those bears are more afraid of us than we are of them.
Awesome video and info Thanks Wife and I are moving next year to Panama to Retire and we are looking to get away from the Austin Tx. Weather, crow, traffic etc.. we LOVE our privacy, our plan is to Purchase a Home and settle down with our dogs they are our life’s. Your video helps a lot, Boquete it’s taking our harts for the climate for sure. Thanks again Arana
You are very welcome and glad you enjoyed the video. Boquete is certainly an amazing choice in my opinion. Another viewer asked me to do a video on Pedasi which I will do next. Stay tuned.
Remember especially in Lima Peru the air quality is very poor every day. At a level of 53 most days breathing is compromised. Running is not a good idea and likely you won’t see the hills outside of town as they will be shrouded in smog. Arequipa and smaller places like Cusco and areas in the mountains etc are fine for breathing
Yes that's a great point. I can't imagine my wife growing up breathing all that smog but she did. I do prefer the more mountainous areas but she prefers Lima to a certain extent
I am new and will be in Panama next month. Explain to me this senior visa.
Welcome to the channel! The senior visa allows one to live within the country so long as they have a guaranteed income. It comes with many perks and benefits that I describe in detail in my video about why Americans are moving to Panama. You can also search for Panama Pensionado Visa for more info. Thanks!
Crime is terrible. Don't believe in beauty.

LOL...great content...and I feel your wife's pain!!!!!
LMAO we just rewatched it and my wife was cracking up. Such a creepy wasp- and spider!
Can you look at Pedasi in very Curious looks nice also
I can, but it might take a while because I'm working on a couple other videos at the moment. Thanks 🙏
@beasleyfinds Thank you God bless
Call yourself immigrants doesn't matter if you are temporary or permanent. be honest Yousef.
Sure why not
Some hot all mixed up ladies but ... Idk about peruanitos
AWESOME IS PERU
Heck yeah
wow
Yep
Being a born and raised Peruvian living in US, I can honestly say I would not move to Peru unless I'm out of Lima and out of their surroundings... Lima is saturated.. been there for a month long just recently and I can say that the traffic and people no respecting anything PLUS the insecurity... makes a recipe for not wanting to comeback... I would if at least the insecurity is somehow controlled or under some kind of security... until then NAH is a hard pass maybe someone else find it attractive but being from there, is a hard pass for me... I will go to do business and make an extra income but other than that NAH....
Yeah my wife grew up in Lima and loves to visit but I don't think she would want to live there again. I enjoyed my time traveling around Cusco and the Sacred Valley. I like the mountains more than the coastal areas. If I were to live there a while, that's where it would be. Thanks for your honest thoughts.
Totally agree!! No way! I could never live there again!!
My girlfriend is from Lima...we live in Florida..been to Lima a few times stayed mostly in Miraflores also been to Cusco and sacred valley which I really liked...the people are friendly but not sure i would live there ...when we get back to Florida it feels so clean and green
My wife is also from Lima. I've been around the country a bit. I understand your perspective. I am from NE USA but have been all around USA as well. I would just say that comparing USA to Peru is not as useful considering how much more developed USA is than Peru. A more fair comparison would be between other south or central American countries
Lima is filthy and often dangerous, unless you live amongst, "pitucos." Outside of: Barranco, Miraflores, San Isidro, Surco, La Molina (Las Casuarinas, La Planicie, San Borja, Camacho, Rinconada), Cieneguilla, Jesus Maria, Magdalena, your typical American could not adapt. Even San Miguel, La Punta, Callao would be slumming it.
For me Oxapampa in Perú is at the top
Oh nice, this looks like my kinda place and not too far from Lima
Yeah. Can you walk to Lake Awosting from the falls
I never tried to do that from the falls. Good question though. There is a section of trail near the falls but I'd have to look at the map to see if it connects
I have an old topographic map that says the trail was not maintained but I read that they improved the trail from SKF to Lake Awosting fairly recently
That would be great. I need to have a look at the map now!
Anyone know how good the internet is in Volcan?
Nope
I’ve married a Peru woman and I’m leaving the United States and moving to Peru. America has become a very sad place to live.
Congratulations and good luck 🤞
So you think you will have an easy life in Peru? Unless your wife is from high society Lima or you have rental property/pension coming in from the good Ole USA, you are dreaming. Peru is a much sadder place, without $$$.
Thanks for this video❤
My pleasure!
Is there a market for giving English language lessons?
Yes, and that is something you can do online as well.
Ai Images makes Puerto Rico look distopian, fake and untrustworthy. is it really that bad?
Yes, it's really that bad PLEASE don't go 😔
I want to learn to spin alpaca yarn from the masters😊
Great. What you fail to mention is that Cerro Punta has been heavily sprayed with toxic chemicals and pesticides. People have been getting sick and even cancer from this.
Oh okay thanks for that tid bit
Because the US is dieing under over taxation an regulation
Hmm.. I think you spelled dying wrong
I very strongly believe it is the cost of living 'mostly'. Doubtful it is from a desire to learn Spanish ! --?-- So many other countries are getting many expats from all over the place also. Grass is greener in many cases for sure - some for ethnic reasons perhaps also a few generations removed maybe ? -- Biden's America has driven many to homelessness - or - very near it - and inflation is ridiculous. Other states that were cheaper have seen illegal immigration exacerbate the affordable housing crisis - practically nationwide ! - - - Many countries are now seeing the influx of expats - driving up the prices for locals and causing severe inflation for them ! --?-- As people move and relocate looking for a better life - having a worse one where they are now. - - - And so it goes........
Cost of living is the biggest factor for many but not all I'd argue. Thanks.
@@beasleyfinds yea - right - 'only' for many millions - huh.
Blame stupid Biden
I did the bioluminescence tour in southern Vieques during a new moon. It was marvelous.
Awesome, I will have to do that one!

What are the requirments to move to Panama and starting a life, any ideas or advice?
You should watch the rest of my Panama videos to get the details
Thank you for such a well organized presentation: no chatter , no hype, 'just the facts' and logical ideas. And thank you for not doing the typical quick photo shots that are usually found on these types of videos: the ones where you begin to focus on the nice picture and then switches quickly to another shot. I hope all other travel vloggers see your style and learn from you. Well done.
Why thank you! In addition to making videos I watch a lot myself. Glad to hear such positive feedback and that I am on the right track.
I’m looking for ‘white gloves’ on person to help me relocate! I will pay for the service!
Try Panama Relocation Tours panamarelocationtours.com Panama Relocation Tours and tell them Beasley sent you
are health coaches needed???
There might be a market for that. I'm sure being bilingual would expand your market reach.
How come when gringos come to Peru they are called "expats" and when peruvians go to the US, we are called "immigrants"?
I've explained this too many times.. if you are just living in another country but don't plan on staying forever that's an expat. Immigrants immigrate (permanently usually) to another country. Sometimes legally sometimes illegally but usually with the intention of staying. Alternatively, an expat plans on returning to their home country. They are living temporarily in another country for work or other reasons. If they go through the immigration process they are immigrants. Is that enough of an explanation? If not, Google it!
We know the real reason why. Let's not play stupid games.
@@leadingbyxample stupid games like leaving weird comments on RUclips videos? Those kind of games 😂?
Usually also, "immigrants " that come to USA from third world countries come here illegally. They come with no money using American resources like schools for their children, hospitals, welfare, etc, etc, etc. Many of them don't pay taxes and they send most of their money to their country of origin which doesn't help the American economy. Americans on the other hand take their own money and invest in the country they are moving to. When do you see a poor American taking free stuff and services paid by Peruvian taxpayers?

I have been thinking about Boquete initially ,but eventually Volcan...not sure yet..will continue to research. Thank you for this video🎉

I found my wife in Peru
Awesome! Good women there.
Good women in Peru!
Peru is one of the greater values in the planet! Hopefully stays like that! Is a cultural cradle!
💯 correct and I hope the culture and history are preserved
I've lived in David for 5 years. The city has more wildlife than rainy, always cold Boquette. Beaches, islands, fishing boats, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, within 50 minutes. Gyms, hospitals, Chiropractors, discos, bowling, airport, baseball, ect. Oh! And everyday highs between 82 and 95. Bags of farm food for $1. You'd hate it. Please don't come!!
Panama has everything depending on what you want. In a nice small package too! The world is a big place though so there are a lot of choices. I think that's why the country offers the pensionado visa and others to incentivize people with money to move there. Glad to hear you enjoy David but that is way too hot for me. Maybe somewhere halfway up the mountain between Boquete and David though!
@@beasleyfinds The heat and mold
Apparently you two are not from Houston!
I’d like to live there. 🎉
Me too! At least for a while. To learn more Spanish
Beautiful video! Beautiful country! Thanks for sharing
Many thanks!
In Peru you can find foods and superfoods that you cannot find in other parts of the world. You will also find a variety of fresh seafood. This is due to the Humboldt Current and the variety of climates, microclimates and ecological floors that make Peru a megadiverse country
💯 correct and it is delicious!
If you want to have a relaxed and stress-free life, I recommend living in the Andean towns, the people there are different from those in big cities. In the small towns you can share with people and enjoy the ancestral customs and traditions that they still preserve.
Oh nice. I appreciate that recommendation 😃
