Update on the Valley - E171
Over the past few years, our property has undergone some major changes. It’s hard to believe how different it looks now compared to even a year ago. Let’s take a look at some images from 2023 and now in 2024. The landscape has completely transformed, and we’re excited to share it with you.
We bought this property back in early 2021, and there have been quite a few changes over the past 3 and a half years.
We’ll start with how it looks today!
If you’ve been following our channel, you know that our biggest challenge has been beavers. They’ve been quite aggressive in their attempts to dam up the entire area.

Great Trip to North Carolina
Просмотров 4172 месяца назад
We had a hugely successful trip delivering water, food and supplies to North Carolina this last weekend. Thursday we started collecting food from the Antwerp Community in conjunction with Lake James Christian Camp. They had all their trailers full and we ended up filling this flatbed too! It was only possibly because of all of you who thought to give so much! Thank you! We drive through the Gre...

We only have 2 days to do this! We have to deliver our fifth wheel down to southern Kentucky, set it up and head back home! Can we do this in time? We leave after work on Friday and want to get to Corbin yet tonight while pulling this monstrosity. We bought this 2001 RV in February (or March) 2023 after visiting the RV Show and saw how expensive RV’s can be! When we pulled it from Toledo we got...

We are here to finish the first part of the the building that will house our fifth Wheel. We got back in Kentucky. Joel and I found Carpenter Bees have made their way into the structure of the wood, and it’s only been up for a month! What is going on? Can we overcome these and still stay on time? Let me know what we could do to do this better. Take care and God Bless!

Much of the country deals with snakes. It's only a few areas that do not have venomous snakes. We found one and scared us like crazy! Great to be back in Kentucky on this nature hike!!

Pat’s Or Not with your backhoe…That is the Question - E147
I’ve been using more and more of Hercules tools since buying their very impressive impact gun for work this year. I purchased the circular saw and sawzall to build a few new work benches and with an 8ah battery they performed very well. For the price I’m hard pressed to justify buying other brands. Though I still do love my older Dewalt and Milwaukee tools in the garage at home. 👍
I've been on that same path. I recenlty purchased the Hercules cordless miter saw - It is incredible along with the stand ruclips.net/user/shortsp-sII7ZmI2Y?feature=share
There should be battery adapters like this for ever device or they should all interchange.
Im gonna try using it in a plastic gun stock to stiffen it up on the foreend and buttock
Please post name and part number, thank you
It's in the video description: Here is the 50 amp waterproof switch we got from Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B088ZH8LHN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
There really is no contention here. The Hercules is a budget, bang-for-buck product while Dewalt offers a premium professional tool. A circ saw is a pretty straightforward device so there aren't subtle features to consider. Use the Dewalt as a beater take it to places where you don't trust conditions or people. Loan it to friends when they come mooching on your tools.
The stump cut would be fairer if one wasn't 3 times the voltage/power. 60v vs 20v????
I went into Home Depot one time and purchased something from a discount display. At the cash register, it came up full price. I got a manager, and the manager said since the display had not been taken down, the store would honor the reduced price. It always pays to check with the manager.
we have the same saw and the hercules blade right out of the box is junk.Put a real blade on there and you will see the difference especially when u are cutting that stump.Your comparing apples to oranges 60v vs 20v.
I see someone else has a talent with handling fire.
Bro 60Volt vs 20volt hahaha not fair
The new version of the Flexvolt saw does have a rafter hook and a lot more power without a doubt. Great video and thanks for the details.
I have the left and right side version of the Flexvolt saws and the power is unstoppable. I also have the 20 volt version of the DeWalt and it cuts great also but as far a production and speed Flexvolt can't be beat. I really would have liked to see a video of the 20 volt DeWalt vs the Hercules for a more fair comparison. Again you pretty much covered everything except that you wouldn't have to buy any batteries if you would have just bought the DeWalt 20 volt.
@@timyarbro4783 I would like to see that video too! I would be they would be similar in power. I've had a problem with the FlexVolt batteries dying. My fourth one is ready to bite the dust. It's the electronics and not the internal batteries themselves that seem to be failing.
When rinsing mine off? I've never seen worms come shooting out of the grass so fast! 😅
I've learned to get out the corded worm drive the next time I do something silly. As silly as watching this video for as long as I did. But thumbs up for the effort, guy.
Sorry. I see nothin in progress
Beautiful, looks like you got em EVICTED Bryce. Them varmits caused you plenty grief. Good job my friend.
Great place for a garden
Comparing a 60v saw to a 20v saws power is like Comparing a 360v 3 phase table saw to a 120v single phase table saw of course its going to have more. power other than that great review.
Exactly, this 60v saw is the most powerful we have on the market, and you put a 12 ah battery, and it doesn't overheat other brands like milwaukee, bosch if you do the same they overheat 😅Makita 36v I've used it a lot and also it didn't overheat but eka is weaker than dewalt, but it's cheaper 😅
Thx u
If it won't start when warm it could be the cutter clutch needs adjustment. A common problem.
hi brice, thx for this video. very intensive. but what i miss was about dust removal, is there any futures for this on the saws?
Awesome review. Being female I probably have a slightly different take on the difference between the two. On the farm I do all kinds of woodwork including felling and milling trees, framing, carpentry, and more. For me the weight of the DeWalt would be a big minus even though its more powerful. The power doesn't help me if I'm worn out from the heavier weight and have to quit for the day. By far the accuracy for me is a huge plus. The markings as well. If I can't make out what I'm setting it at its useless. I'll be waiting until Black Friday deals probably but thank you for doing this.
Nice and easy
After I twisted my paint stirer into a pretzel I husk them first less mess. I cut that off and welded a heavy wire brush to the end. Nice clean nuts. The greener the easier to crack and get a fairly clean nut.
Nice work, I have a 2020 330RL and the crappy plastic mesh has torn where the wheels roll along the floor surface. It’s a design flaw. Thank you for sharing this! I’m going to try and replicate your idea. I’d use the wheels to support the weight. What a PIA!
The ladies were probably digging trillium. What time of year was it? In some states it’s illegal. Just a wildflower but endangered. I’ve seen people digging in our national forest. It’s an arrestable offense with a steep fine in Alabama.
Well done man, probably cleaner than the factory gets em!
Pile them in driveway- drive over them. Put in 5gal buckets and use a power washer 2-3 times to rinse & clean them. I have one tree that will fill a 55 gallon drum with walnuts each year. BTW- WEAR GLOVES! Floating walnuts are duds. Dry for 2 months in a cool, well ventilated place. Soak for 3 days before cracking.
The guy that designed the dewalt now designes the hercules from harbor freight they are basically the same
Be more fair on the test get a 20 amp DeWalt and then retest them you can't come up with a fair test when one is a 20 amp and the other is a 60 amp
Who is ever watching this video please do not take this guy’s advice and override all the safety features that a lawn Moore is produced whip they are there for a purpose so don’t be the one going into the emergency room trying to sue the company just because you rigged something for safety please people be smart on what you’re doing because remember you have one body and one life just imagine if it was your son or daughter or wife might get hurt on this equipment that you rigged. Jesus Christ of Nazareth please help people understand if they can’t fix it take it to a professional that knows what they’re doing not to an Individual that’s just changing the system around that’s what you call is a shade tree mechanic somethings always shady about their work.✝️✝️✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸
You are awesome man! This got me up and going again
I can sympathize. If the sign is still up, stores should honor the sale and she should have at least say let me talk to the manager
The only Dewalt tool that I have ever had any luck with was the 7.4 V screwdriver. I have had hammer drills and saws and they’ve all been crap. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
10:21 I just hiked to this place through the lookout point trail at Cumberland Falls yesterday. It was real cool. It’s sucks that people graffiti it.
Such a touching story of community helping community
That is so awesome Bryce. God is so Good. Thank you Sir.
How has it held up?
It has held up just fine. There is cracks on the edges where the new mix was real thin.
Excellent project. I'm just learning how to weld (self-taught from YT videos) and I think this is going to be my first "real" welding project after I finish with my practice pieces. I have the TYM T25 tractor which, I believe, is the same as your RK. How do you know what angle to put between the hole for the pin that holds the conduit into the pipe and the "sticks" (bits of the sign stand) that you welded onto the conduit? You obviously don't want them sticking straight up (vertical) or straight out (horizontal). I would think 45 degrees would be too much as well. Yours look like they are perfectly aligned with the bow of the coroplast. It seems like maybe the best plan is to not drill the hole in the conduit until after you install the "sticks" and put the coroplast on it. Let it find it's own position, then mark and drill the conduit.
better to do this before building it, and dont do this with partical board
I have the hercules. I use it on the job for portabilityband work at odd angles.. when i am cutting thicker or haerd woods i use corded
What type of L is that?
The aluminum? I think it's 2"x1/8" thick. The RV is 300 miles away right now but I believe that is correct.
My shits made from steel
That was incredible the likes of Endgame thank you lol. Had a nasty truck bed dent for 6 months
You need to check your breathing issues...why do you stop breathing and then start gasping like your mouth breathing carbon monoxide?
This also makes the wood water resistant.
I wood ☝️👀
What does it do to the painted surface on that metal roof?
Read the label, watch videos....he spent a ton of time when you could just use an overlay
He has so many cracks it woukd cost him a who bunch of money,a.d NEVER USE TOUR HANDS TO TROWEL IT
Do not do a job like this without research!!!!...the rockite is expensive.....look around alternative crack repairs for large jobs...im using rockite tomorrow on a job...its been chased,blown,powerwased.....
