I converted one alternator so it puts out higher amps to run the 24v wheelchair motors, that are on the trucks, faster for more power, if you will, and I have one alternator that just outputs 12v, to run all the accessories.

Due to shunting issues, the rails have to be "scrubbed" every day. There are electric motors on the back of the High Railer, with a serious wire brush on each one for each rail...

My latest project, a F7 style EMD Locomotive is coming along nicely.

I have been trying to make this work for a DC Motor, not an AC motor! Got any clues or is it just Cheap certain ethic Junk?

These wheels are not hard to make, as I have made the same type of wheels for my train cars using 8" rims, and I got the rims for free just by asking around mower repair shops, and only paid a few duckies when I did pay for some of them, the worse thing is, they are simply time consuming...

1958 is closer to her permanent home....

It rained a little last night...

I almost missed the train.... but here is a short vid of the final push and the units that did the work... I personally would have stuck something a bit cleaner on the front end, but, they did the job....
