You can do your interview at almost any airport upon international arrival, without an appointment. Unfortunately, when I received the email to make an appointment, I was already on vacation in the USA. It’s Sept 9th 2024. I applied 6 weeks ago and I am still waiting on the conditional approval. Not sure why it’s taking longer than a few who have already commented. I have lived in the same house for over 25 years and been retired for over 11 years so I am not sure.

Are the beds queen size, or double? Also, if you have a king room, is there a sofa bed? We're trying to book for 2 adults and 2 kids, and it says the king room sleeps 4, but I don't want to share the bed? The other option says 2 double beds, so I'm confused. Thanks

Great video. I upgraded to Global Entry as my PreCheck was expiring this year. Quick and easy process. Interview(Cleveland, Ohio) was at most 5 minutes and I had my approval email before I got back to my car. I immediately updated all my airline apps with my new number.

Good morning. I am also in Virginia (Richmond) Thank you for this video. I applied on Saturday August 24. Conditionally approved on 8/26 . My appointment on 9/14 at the Norfolk office. There was availability last week of August. But Norfolk has Saturday hours 🥰

Another pro-tip (maybe this is a pro-pro-tip!).... at 8:22, there is another option for scheduling your appointment. It's called "Global Entry Upon Arrival." This seems to be a well-kept secret--I don't know why more people don't talk about it. This option presumes that (a) you do not already have Global Entry but (b) you *are* already planning an international flight. To do this, you need to do everything exactly as you said in the video up to 8:22. Once you get your conditional approval--stop. Do not select an appointment time. Upon returning to the U.S. from abroad, you'll need to go through the regular old customs and immigration process without any additional benefits. Yes, this may be a long line--but it's probably the last time you'll ever need to suffer that line. When you talk to the CBP agent, answer all their questions, but inform them that you already have conditional approval and want to do the interview. They'll gladly point you to the special room where you can do the interview without any appointment. The down side of this option is that clearing customs may take a while, but look at it this way: it saves another trip to the airport and the associated travel and parking fees, so in the end it probably saves time and money compared to making a special trip to do the interview. The interview itself is exactly the same process as if you had an appointment, so be sure to have all those documents listed at 12:27 with you and ready. Assuming you pass, the card will arrive within about two weeks.

My experience in acquiring Global Entry Membership July 4, 2024 - applied on line at 11:30 a.m. July 6th, 2024 - received an email that says conditionally approved, scheduled an appointment August 12th, 2024 - had an interview at 12:30 pm @ Chicago O'Hare Int'l Airport and was told that I passed the Membership interview and will receive an official email, and will receive the membership card in two weeks. August 12th, 2024 - @ 4:00 p.m. I received a confirmation email that says MEMBERSHIP NUMBER/PASSID. during the interview the person who interviewed me only asked for my passport and Driver's License. He only asked for my full name, Address, Date of Birth, finger printing (10 fingers) and photo ID taken. Maybe it lasted for 5 minutes or so, but less than 10 minutes.

I applied on July 14 and it still saying pending review.
