I went to an aquarium a few years ago and said to myself, “I wish my room could look like some of these underwater tanks”. Seeing Natalie’s hard work and the finished piece in a cool frame is very inspiring, and I’d really like to try making some of the components/types of corals that she was inspired by myself. Now THIS is inspirational. I've been breaking down and cutting apart frozen food boxes (Which are Not recyclable because of their plastic coating, like Starbucks cups.) And drawing on the white undersides! It makes fantastic marker paper.

Omg I remember this, our form teacher in year 8 showed us this in September 2008, then our Citizenship teacher showed us it, I remember the lyrics and that badadadababba bit. There is some similarity to Lilly Allen but you can tell its not her, nice vocals but the lyrics are too repetetive as for gang life, the majority would shit their pants if they brought back capital punishment be even better if it was televised, (that wouldnt happen) but you watch that if that did happen, every chav, wanna be gang would be pretrified and shocked that the death sentance had returned to the UK and would think not twice but 50 times about it before commiting the crime

Although the term 'gang' can simply mean a large group of people who share a common identity and common agendas...it tends to be used negatively these days to mean individuals who come together to commit criminal acts as a unit and inflict suffering on more vulnerable people.

Many cities think that adding more police officers on the street will solve the problems of gangs which does, but only the for the short term. We need a long term solution to solving gang issues such as what you were saying, it's all about empowerment the young and teenagers and building their self-esteem, and hope that there are other options than gangs.

Thanks! I wrote the melody and lyrics. It's also me (Natalie) singing on the track. The backing track was produced by someone else. I feel very strongly about gang-culture and the marginalization of youth (white and black) in society. There are loads of issues: lack of parental responsibility; lack of government initiative to provide activities for young people etc... but I think the main root of the problem are economic ones.
