Farwell, Lily. May you rest in peace.

Hill Valley Farm sadly lost one of the most beloved goats in the herd. To say we are devastated is an understatement. We realize when you have livestock this happens, but to lose son suddenly is extremely hard to handle.
The Final Eight!!!

Welcome, Gloria's kids!! Yay for new goat babies!🎉
So cute!
Thank you!! 💜
Wow!!! That is one gorgeous doeling and she doesn't look like a newborn! Her mama is gorgeous as well. I'm glad she didn't have problems delivering such a big baby. I can understand why you chose to retain that beautiful girl. I agree with your request for the public to keep a distance. Any germ when new to a herd can be very harmful since they have no immunity. Good luck with your upcoming shows!! Thanks for sharing!!🙏❤
Thank you!! Yes she was 5 lbs at birth and larger than Cali's twins! She is all legs and jumping and running 💜 thank you so much!!
Our county fair has hand sanitizer throughout the barn and encourages the use between petting. Do you think that helps? Or still keep your hands to yourself?
I do think that helps, however getting the general public to utilize it properly, kids not feed it to the goats (yes, that has been attempted) and use common sense seems to be the issue. Plus it's not always clear that this pen of goats aren't with this pen next to it. We realize being a show herd we take the risk and understand it fully. It's just helpful to keep in mind there are petting zoos and then there are livestock shows. 😉
CONGRATULATIONS on your wins at the shows!! Your girls are beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!!🙏❤
He is absolutely gorgeous and vert dairy
He is just gorgeous!!! I can see why he caught your eye!! I see more beautiful babies in your future!!! Thanks for sharing!!🙏❤
Thank you!! Yes absolutely! I cannot wait for Valor babies! 💜
Oh my goodness!!! All of your babies are beautiful!!! The moonspots on Sheila's little doeling are gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing!!🙏❤
Adorable babies ❤
Do you sell your baby goats?
Oh yes. We sell more than we retain because we have to keep our numbers down. I will be updating our website very soon with the ones available. We operate on a reservation list first then advertise. 🙂
His coat pattern is my favorite 🤩🤩 awesome addition

Thank you very helpful
You are so welcome!!
Yes! This is something I want to learn more about for next fall. Maybe an in depth discussion as an educational topic for one of our meetings?
Absolutely!!!! That is a great idea!
Best wishes for a successful breeding for Lila!!! Thanks for sharing!! Stay safe!!🙏❤
Thank you! ❤
Interesting. I had no idea this was something that is done.
Neither did we until last year! It was a game changer for us!
Awwwwww the name that popped into mind when I saw the last lil dinky doe was Tiny Tinkerbell (or Tiny Tinker) but then call her Tiny Tinks for short… If I wasn’t all the way here in the uk then I would b biting ya hand off for her lolol xxxx
I used to have Saanans long ago - ty so much for sharing! Takes me back to those sleep-deprived days 🥰
Oh we love Saanans! Talk about production! 😍 Thank you 💜

New subber here. What does dry leg mean?
Welcome!! To obtain permanent champion status you need 3 grand champion wins AKA 3 legs. One of those legs can be a dry leg which means the doe wins that before they ever go into milk. The age limit for this is 2 years old. After the age of 2 they have to win legs in milk. Some even call those "wet legs" because they are in milk where the "dry leg" is not in milk. 😊
The 2 in the video at 5:15 are going to be polled. The boy you said is horned looks polled to me, then the one doeling is polled.
He is horned (disbudded today) and the other 3 are polled. They are usually super obvious to me but these kids' fur laid very differently. The big buck was actually born with buds so he was obvious because of that lol! He is absolutely huge lol
That's so funny. The quads that we had here last weekend are all horned too, even though their sire was polled. I had the hardest time figuring it out with them. Congratulations to you and Caden! They are all such beautiful kids. It's going to be really great to watch those keepers grow and mature.
So you will laugh but in a turn of events we have decided the other 3 are polled! The one big buckling has buds and the other 3 don't but they are not your typical hair sticks straight out when polled hair do...🤣🤣🤣 They have to keep us on our toes, right?!
Three gorgeous mamas and 8 beautiful babies!!!❤ Thank you so much for sharing!!! Best wishes for the upcoming deliveries!! Stay safe!!🙏❤
Thank you!! So thankful for incredibly healthy deliveries!
Can’t wait for Faline babies 😊😊
Neither can we!
As always, the babies are adorable ❤.
Thank you!! They are so sweet and we are so happy to have babies again! 🙌

I am so sorry for your loss!!! Lily was definitely a gorgeous girl!! 💔
Thank you 💜 she is missed so much.
Do u you ever lose codes during kidding?
To date we have not lost one during kidding, no. That isn't to say it won't happen. Lily was after kidding.
Sorry about your goat. 😕
Soso sorry
She was my all time favorite. She sure is missed.
A beautiful tribute. Rest in sweet peaceful pastures Lily girl.
Congratulations 🎉
Nice looking goats got some goats in Africa my challenges are feeds in the summer 🎉
Good video. Lots of information and laid out well Saw you were close to 500 so subscribed on my multiple channels to push you to allow monetization :) congrats on hitting the first big milestone!
Awesome! Thank you!
Loved the video: 12:14
Thank you!!
Very exciting to have babies on the way!! As you said, the issues with the girls settling was experienced by many breeders. I'm wondering, as crazy as it may sound, could the weather patterns be responsible? It's been a crazy year weather wise! Thanks for sharing and stay safe!!!❤🐐❤
I would say anything is possible. We tried using CIDRS and for the most part last year they worked first time (with the exception of Skye) this year pretty much all of the last 8 short cycled. All but Dicey and Butterfinger which is interesting because they will both be FF, and they are literally a year apart in age. Some say it's because it's late in the season but Moon was bred months ago and didn't settle. It's very odd!
Beautiful Goat kids 💝💝💝💝🙏
Thank you madam for the info. Godbless 💝🙏

Thanks for sharing!!! Beat wishes that everyone settles!! Merry Christmas🎄
I love your Farm. What kind of camera are you using in this video? The resolution is excellent and you’re able to capture all the vibrant colors of each animal and lovely goats. I’m trying to feel for ligaments and I’m not sure exactly what I’m looking for so thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤
Thank you!! 💜 This is my Go Pro hero 10 camera. Lately I've been using my camera because sometimes it's just easier but I need to get my go pro back out. And yes! It takes time and just feeling them on each doe because does can be different but you should feel a pencil-like object in there 😊
