PAX is the largest peace organization in the Netherlands. PAX works to protect civilians against acts of war, to end armed violence and to build inclusive peace. We work in conflict areas worldwide, together with local partners and people who, just like us, believe that everyone has a right to a dignified life in a peaceful society.
Webinar mental health of Palestinian women in Gaza
In this webinar, our three speakers, Dana Moss (PHRI), Fidaa Alaraj (Oxfam) and Dr Yasser Abu-Jamei (GCMHP), discussed the findings of a new research conducted by Physicians for Human Rights Israel (PHRI) and the Gaza Community Mental Health Program (GCMHP), highlighting the impacts of Israeli human rights violations on the mental health of Palestinian women in Gaza. In addition to encouraging all of us to treat mental health as a crucial factor in our work and not just an afterthought, this webinar also provides concrete recommendations for the international community and organizations to help improve the mental health of Palestinian Women in Gaza.
