I'm on a waiting list for this operation. I was hesitant, but after seeing this result I'm not anymore. It will literally bring back my quality of life. I can get a motorcycle again!

I've watched a number of these pre/post DBS videos and the change is remarkable, but it's clear that all it does is eliminate the tremors. And if that's all it does, it's probably worth doing for those with Parkinson's and a candidate for the procedure, but it does not cure Parkinson's.

How long does this treatment last before it needs to be done again?

DBS is a wonderful option for those who qualify for it. It is a life changing procedure. My husband had the surgery five years ago. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Anne looks great in the video above!

Wow! I have an essential tremor and have been offered DNS. I'm a bit fearful and also wondered how much hair the cut during surgery.
