To me it looks as though the jump is made too close the ball on kickoff. Would be curious to see what happens to the ball in a replay at 5% speed using free cam. Also your minimum FPS (1% low) should be at least double your monitor’s refresh rate for the smoothest possible experience. Uncapped is the best option for input latency and smoothness as long as the game isn’t GPU limited.

Its your speed flip, go to musty speed flip training pack and see how often your doing a proper speed flip. If its not 9 out of 10 times, your not even doing a speed flip in game.

Can I be honest? It's fun watching you play 1s sometimes, but for me, I've enjoyed watching your channel when you're mostly dominating. Your play style seems to be really effective in 2s. So all I'm saying is, maybe you can upload and alternate 2s and 1s (or 3s), instead of just going on a heavy focus on 1s. I'm not just trying to be selfish, I think your viewership might suffer if you keep uploading videos where you're not getting as many game wins. I mean if I want to watch someone lose at Rocket League, I don't need to go to RUclips for that. I hope that makes sense. Love the channel!

To have started playing in Season 10, to have been from Gold to Diamond (NAE servers), and to have heard feedback from Champ to SSL players, my impressions are that every ranks are now infested, (maybe even equally?). Like, the play and the mass players' behavior and attitude of this game are rotten to the core, unfortunately. Every unpleasant things we can witness from some of the players in this video can be regularly found in Plat-Diamond (in my experience). (Please don't get me wrong! :D I'm not trying to contradict as I've never played in C3 and I haven't played before 2023. It's just my impression.) Provided that it's the worst rank by far, if I ever get to it, hopefully I'll be able to break through it as shortly as possible. At least, I would have been warned, haha! And anyway, by the time I'll get there (if I ever), maybe the hat of mediocrity will have shifted to another rank. Oh, and to make this topic even more interesting, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the "before VS after" F2P, in relation to the poor play and behavior we see, if you don't mind (perhaps here or in a future video). I'm also curious to know people's thoughts on the current business model of the game. For instance, what if the F2P could only allow casual gaming? (CS:GO did that IIRC. Want to play competitive? → Pay!) Could that prevent some clowns to cheat in competitive modes? Would that increase the queue times, but on the other would decrease the mediocrity? Food for thoughts. To conclude, you're brave to play those games and to analyze them for us. That's very nice of you. Thanks a lot! Dude I remember watching this two years ago. I was champion 2 in rumble, I thought maybe I could hit GC. A year went by, and last year, I was one game off of grand champ. I lost that game to a regional champion. I remembered this video, rewatched it, and started implementing this into my gameplay. I am now a grand champion 2 rumble player.

Very excited to see how you handle c3 if you get there. Also you should try using your brain to do a super break down of the Mawkzy wavedash kickoff so you have a reliable less mechanical way to ensure balance on kickoffs.

Tip for recovering better at 44:00. Let go of accelerator and only hold powerslide. That way regardless of wheel's direction, car will go towards the direction of momentum (from bump). You're probably aware of it and maybe just couldn't react in time. But still commenting for others benefit

Open net misses with those diagnoal touches are so annoying. Makes me loose confidence in my shooting skills for the rest of the match.

You get conceded on a lot when the ball is moving towards your corner and is bouncing. You always immediately drive to your corner for the boost, or go backboard. Leaving the opponent to hold the centre field and get a free shot. You don't have enough time to be cheating for corner boost. You also give the opponent too much space when they gain possession, your first thought is always to rush back to your side, when top players stick around and be annoying.

Not only the usage of the Grass Rocket Boost is advantageous, but it also keeps the lawn of the pitches clean, and freshly cut grass smells so good! Oh, and I personally use the Bubbles one, so it waters the grass, which is good too! :) A few days ago, I was watching one of your video and subconsciously thought that one of my neighbor was mowing the lawn, lol! I prefer the green lights with the grass boost than the white ones with the bubbles. I'm considering swapping, but that's a though decision. Thanks for your awesome video, as always! Yess dude, I've been hitting 2's the last couple of weeks before I took a break. The 1's series always itches a scratch!

As someone who's also stuck around this rank in 1s (highest I've been is 1 game away from C3) I'm really interested to see how you approach climbing higher. I think I might be a bit more mechanical than you, but I want to improve my defense especially cause it's lacking at times. I feel like 1s games at this rank are often just a shootout of who has the better offense, while people generally aren't fantastic at defending. I think that's the biggest difference between Champ and GC in 1s for the most part.
