Welcome, friends! I'm so glad you made it to my channel! My name is Julie and I LOVE learning about all things homesteading and gardening in Idaho. This is where I share my love for the garden and passion of learning how to homestead. I have such big dreams that seem so far off in the distance right now, but doing what I can with what I have means I'll just be that much more prepared for when I do have the ability to purchase my dream homestead property. Hello again, my friends! Today we are finally preserving the potatoes from my 2024 harvest by pressure canning them. It took a while to process, but it's so worth it to have such good, healthy, organic, sustainable food stocked in the pantry!

Today I'm going to show you my favorite flavor of sourdough focaccia, cranberry brie! Now this is definitely MY version of focaccia, probably not ideally or traditionally how you do it. Nonetheless, it is homemade with love and absolutely DELICIOUS! I'm turning the compost pile one last time before we revisit her in the spring. The compost temperature has been at or below 50 f, while ambient temperatures are dipping down to almost 0 f at night. So...it's getting a little too chilly outside to keep turning it. Let's go ahead and put the compost to bed for the winter.
