Hi mate ! Is it also possible to add other controller together with the joysticks to have motion as well with ground vehicules in SC ?
@@seadoorsliveaboardphilippi3920 you'd need to use joystick gremlin and bind the the other controller to the vjoy input
awsone videos man its been a mine feild . i guess all the profiles can also be edited with notepad++ to then beable to copy and paist other profile info , alowing setup of mutiple games and setups, I build bespoke arcade machines and just invested into the yaw so the goal is to get it to work with teknoparrot flight and driving games, - but im after just using it as a screen infront as I dont have full roation mount , you mentioned aboutsharing the profile , would you be happy to share any profiles so I can take a look at them , and get it to work along side my joystick gremlin. and man id be happy to give your channel a shoutout , you deserve way more followers
How is it holding up ? Any updates
Sounds like I need to do a stream! It's still holding up quite well!
@@deejnutz2068 yes !!! I have so many questions about the yaw !
yo.... what are you using for a monitor
A pair of nreal airs, although now I use a quest 3
Hi, I have the YAW2 Arcade now for two months and it works with the Yaw VR program but that’s it, when I use the Yaw VR Game Engine like with No Limits 2 the game and the Yaw chair move but the head set is not in sync, I have to keep pressing the R key on the keyboard to recenter my head set, I am using the Valve Index. I wish some one could make a video from start to finish showing use how to set it up properly. Looks like every one is showing us how it works with games but not how they set it up. Thanks
That's because you have to set up motion compensation. Itsvrk has a great video going over how to do this.
Sorry if too personal lol, but you guys were having a baby, right? Did you guys have the baby? Not seen any streams in a bit, hope all is well!
Baby will be here any day now! Things are good, work just got crazy, I'll be making content again soon ish! Probably around the next major SC release.
@deejnutz2068 Early congratulations then :D and I get that, see you then! Super excited about the new stuff hopefully soon lol
What Soft you use for the yaw2 ? I have a dof reallity H3 and would like use on SC to ...
I use the yaw game engine and ovrmc
is the game streaming in your glasses? what goes through them? nice setup!
Yep, I now use VR headsets but it definitely was projected inside the glasses.
@@deejnutz2068 ever thought of glasses combined with a curved monitor, with the ship’s interfaces on them?
Deej I’ve had my MC “swimming” across the board for months now. Any ideas what I need to look at to fix this. Also, what are your settings in the Steam MC settings? I dialed them around a bit but haven’t found settings I like (probably because it’s screwed up elsewhere).
Just wanna say you'll absolutely love the beyond. The reviewers complaints are fair though. Excited to try this out with my vorpx install. I assume EAC is bypassed now
It sort of is, you need to do some changes to config files to make it work, but there are tutorials on how to do that on YT currently.
I have a vive and thought Skyrim VR was kindaof cool. Gave neat immersion and you could look out and around the towns and forests. But star citizen has nothing visually to offer by comparison yet. You an't even walk around citie buildings or get near them to enjoy the scale and depth without getting impounded. Start citzens immersion is about as immersive as a isometric strategy game. The ground detail isn't there. And the VR headset detail definitely isn't there.
What kind of holymolly setup is that ? 😍😍😍
Finicky, that's what it is haha
when did they fix vorpx? i thought anticheat was flagging it?
It is, you have to add some EAC bipass stuff. There are some videos already on RUclips covering how to do it.
😮 he was later kidnapped by space force😮
Video starts 44:15 holy fuck I feel sorry for anyone watching through all that to get to the game play.
Yeah, the software to make everything work doesn't always just work...
It still goes to show the state of the overall experience which is exactly what you're trying to demonstrate here. @@deejnutz2068
the brick on the face is such a turnoff, can't wait for something more realistic for VR.
I think he means the comfort of wearing the VR headset. Hopefully I'll get a big screen beyond in January.
Very cool, I need to get this and not blow 6k on star citizen a year, what is ur motion sim setup/specs and how much does it cost?
Sim is a Yaw 2 pro with the yaw base! The chair on it's own not including my custom mounting solution is $4500 USD before taxes and shipping.
Hi ! Mouse+keyboard for on feet phase ?
Yep! I have a trackball mouse and a mini keyboard mounted on my desk plate.
super cool! how much it cost for that chair simulator?
Without any of my custom add ones roughly $4500 USD!
I tried VorpX a while ago but it was too slow and had to many artifacts to use it properly. Can you please share your VorpX-Settings for Star Citizen? Also, as a humble request: It would be very helpful to see what you are actually doing with MC and the other Yaw settings while debugging things. I still haven't gone into this more deeply because it's such a complicated matter.
Yeah I'll be able to with my new setup, I had to reinstall windows to get decent performance so now I can utilize the steam vr view for the stream.
I'm assuming this is with vorpx?
That is correct
Yes could you make vidéo to explain how you congigure it fo sc please ?
Most of the software used is in my "play any game in VR" video on my channel currently. I suppose I could make one specific to star citizen, but that video goes over all the tech used.
@deejnutz2068 thank you for your answer.
did you receive your yaw through kickstarter or did you buy it ? if bought how long did you wait for delivery ?
Kickstarter, I was one of the very first backers.
Heh... I didn't know SC had motion and VR support? How are you making that work? I have an NLR V3 and the same headset... really keen to try this out
fyi MIC L1 has a station you can land at, you just need to zoom in further. Nice setup.
I wish I knew this a few days ago haha
good
I didn't know SC could be played in VR... I've got a Varjo that I could try.
I play in vario . you try settup resolution 2720x2720 , in vorpx setup vorpx edge 3d 1.0 adn near depth 3d for 0.30 best setup for vario ;)
is it as amazing as it looks i want one soooooooo bad. i shoulda bought this instead of the 4090
I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DO THIS LIKE YESTERDAY
Followed this to the T! perfect! Thanks man!!!!
hey could you link the chair? xD

Really cool setup, but the frequent loud coughing and throat clearing made this extremely hard to watch for me. Have you considered recording the comms audio to a separate channel so you can cut it out?
You mean the discord audio? I can separate audio channels.
@@deejnutz2068 Yeah, someone was coming through over discord with loud coughs. Other people might not mind it, but it bothers me a lot. #triggered.
Just realized this was live. Yeah, maybe just better comms discipline from people. PTT, etc. if they're going to be hacking up a lung.
How do you get the head tracking to work? Does it do 3D projection or does it look like floating 2d screen?
I'm using Vorpx which has a trackIR plugin designed to plug right into the game.
@@deejnutz2068does that mean Vorp x will work for any game with track IR support?
Wow awesome setup. What's the sim chair you have? Really impressive maneuvering.
It's called the Yaw 2 by Yaw VR.
What flight sim set up is that? Dont recognize it.
It's called the Yaw2 by Yaw VR
@deejnutz2068 thanks. The price on it is very good compared to other sims!
Can you please share your setup and state how much it costs! I really like it!
I'll maybe put together a video on all of it at some point.
theres something always noticeable in someones voice when they've got enough money to spend on such luxuries, its a type of soulless pompous ,the kid that gets everything but really has nothing hmm. i think a year of your life out on the street life without all you things you surround your self in will teach you something that will change the sound of your voice . something deeper than your balls dropping for real.. but seriously life must be a drag i can hear the depression in you jeez i felt like my dream of getting the vr chair was killed seeing how miserable you are in it, get out there and find humble and life and then make videos . ever seen the tv show what we do in the shadows.. yeah your the vampire that sucks the life out of people simply by talking monotone and uninteresting. if i offended you great please understand you gave me depression watching this so you should be rightfully offended . then come back to online gaming community when you've lived outside in real world before destroying online world with you sunny attitude . you have as much life in you as the most advanced gaming npc.. i really hope your friends survive the Christmas party bored asf watching i just managed to survive and go on with living thanks .
Any motion sickness?
Some people feel it, but I've got pretty solid VR legs so I'm good.
Does this support head-tracking for looking around in cockpit? Cause I wasn´t sure, if the suble movemnts were just the soft target tracking of the ingame cam or your actual head turns.
It's head tracking
what kind of VR head set is reqired for SC ... does it work with meta quest 2 or 3 ?
Yes, you'd need to use virtual desktop :)
How is the arrow superior to the F8C?
Some people claim it is, but in my hands it sure isn't. 😂
dude got insane set up but still flies like he's on MKB, sorry not really trying to hate but you gotta use your rolls more to align yourself to the target and pip man.
That's to be expected, I spend more time tinkering with hardware for an immersive experience than I do becoming a peak PVP pilot. The simulator is also extremely disorienting, if I wanted to fly like a pro I'd turn it off, put A1 inside of it and he'd probably fly significantly worse.
@@deejnutz2068 understandable, but with amazing set up like that, doubt it will take long for you to reach the top haha! Sorry dude didnt really mean to hate haha, i was expecting some crazy maneuvering there, is all.
@@SubOptimal_ give me a few months, been on a SC hiatus for a long while up until my streams started up haha.
Nice lucky you ! What is your backer number ?
the future is now
Insane setup
I thought SC doesn't have VR Support? I have VR glasses and wanna play it in VR so badly..
VorpX allows for it :)
Yeah you can get pseudo VR working using vorpx, going forward I'll be using vorpx and my index (at least until my big screen beyond gets here) The performance is just way better than virtual desktop.
So it is not a true stereoscopic VR and more like playing on a huge virtual screen?@@deejnutz2068
Go to VR Citizen , The lastest VR setup is like vr
headset working?
Yep, I'm now using vorpx, which should be demonstrated on future streams
This set up it dope just wondering if it really is possible get ship telemetry working with cheat engine? Devs have stated in the past they don’t mind people getting around eac to use vorpx or play on Linux but still no guarantees.
Have they? If that's the case I may need to try getting real telemetry
wtf what kind of gaming chair ist that xD this is so cool. how did you build this?
It's called the Yaw 2. I definitely don't have the skills to make one like this DIY.
