Modifying my Harbor Freight 20 ton press for easier storage

Now that the garage is somewhat organized again, and I can do projects, I figured I'd start by modifying my press to make it easier to store. This is just a short video, of a little project, to kind of get used to filming projects in the garage.
Tucker's First Adventure!

Took an overnight trip with friends. Tucker got to go on his first adventure. He went from a starving stray on the street to living it up in the woods and wheelin. He did absolutely outstanding, in camp, with the other dogs, in the tent, and in the truck. He'll be hitting the trails with us often!

High Sierra Krawlers take on the Rubicon Trail in August 2023. 3 Day trip beginning on the Tahoma side. We stayed near Observation Point Night 1. Near Buck Island Lake night 2. And at Winter Camp night 3. Exited at Loon Lake. Lot's of traffic, as it was Marlin Crawler weekend.

Robin and Rob (from Stanislaus National Forest Service) were awesome enough to spend Memorial Day weekend with us, getting the trail ready to open. Nice job. Are you on 35" tires and a lift, and what is the gearing in your transfer case?
@daleboyish in this video I was on 35s with 5.29 gears. The transfer case was stock Toyota. I'm now on 37s with 5.29 gears and twin transfer cases. Toyota 2.28 rear case, with 4.70 in the front case. The lift is about 2.5~3 inches. I've cut the fenders and tubbed the front wheel wells.
What area was this? Reservior?

What’s your set up? Lift, gears, front locker, dual cases? Cool build. How’s the steering rack holding up? 😎
No idea what the lift is actually at now. I've lifted and lowered it so many times now. And now I'm long travel. Gears are 5.29, it's locked front and back. I've added a second Tcase since this video was made, and now I'm on 37s. The steering rack started leaking about a year ago, I just keep filling it with stop leak. I'll post some info on where the truck is at now, when I replace the rack in the next month or so.

Nice video, Where did you begin? Wanting to do this trip this summer.
The beginning of this video is at Blue Lake. We stayed the night at Lost Lake (above Blue Lake). The trip actually started at the Utica end of the Slick Rock trail. We did Slick Rock and went up to the Highway 4 entrance to Deer Valley trail. Then we did Deer Valley to Blue Lake, which is where this video starts.

Matt if you look at the rock bouncers on youtube, find out what kind of drive shafts and axles they use, it could be very help full to know what kind of drive line to mach those monster tires on your heavy wrecker.

he made it happen, there was a lot of support tho, the plastic steps need to be replaced tho now. That being said, it changed my mind what it takes to get thru sourgrass

Thank you. We really try and do our best in showing trail conditions, and giving a real life perspective of the trail. I'm sure there are other YTs that are way more polished and cinematic than we are... but we're not by any means photographers... we're 4 wheelers lol.
@@TheVentureBeyond We used to run trails here in England. Sold the 4x4 still wish we had it. We can hear everything clear video is clear and not jumping everywhere. So fine by me subscribers will increase. Thanks for your reply all the best Jamie
