Does any company make a complete steel braided brake line kit for first gen sequoia’s ? And I’m talking even the brake hoses that go over the rear diff.

So I used 2010-2014 4Runner front brakes on my 2004 4Runner. Definitely bigger rotors! Can’t use 2015 and up calipers because the mounting bolts are bigger. Only 2010-2014 are direct bolt on calipers! ✌️

Hey bro I got a 2018 and my u joints are sealed however I noticed on my carreier bearing mount the bolts are positioned super far forward (toward engine not differential) I unbolted and reboltes same issue to the point I had to leverage the mount to get the bolts through. Thoughts? Thinking axle wrap

Dealer said: Those ujoints aren't serviceable. Me: Follow me. (Points around the rear tire where you can see the zerk fitting on the rear ujoint) Then I guess some prankster glued zerks on all the ujoints on this truck? Dealer: ...oh....wow... Me: Yeah. So let's get 'em greased up.

Yota. I have a 2004 Corolla. I was Loosing oil. Had valve cover replaced. Didn't solve issue. I do believe I have a problem with the piston ring maybe stuck, or the little drain holes could be clogged. The car runs excellent. I am not a mechanic! Can I try an engine flush. And maybe use Yamalube ring free for awhile, or liquid molley valve clean added to the gas tank? I have 218, thousand miles. I have a limited income. Can't afford to buy another car. Trying to get some more use out of it. I did subscribe! Thanks for any advice brother. Note car still runs excellent!

Seems to me the flange is installed and thightened crushing the crush sleeve and until you get resistance on the flange. Then you back off the nut. To the desired backlast. However, by reading the marks on the ring tells me the pinion needs to move away from the ring. I can't. Its already rubbing on the case. The pinion that is. So it's gotta come back off and a shim will be added. And by doing this, I'll need to center the gear contact using the adjuster nuts. Right??

I bought my sequoia from someone that didn’t do their driveline service routinely so now I’m stuck with a bad ujoint. How hard are these things to replace, Yota Guy? I do my own oil, brakes and suspension. I have basic handtools, impact gun, 3 1/2 ton floorjack. Any other tools needed to do this job? Or should I just take it into a shop?

Just today I ran a pair of wires through the cable grommet (passenger side in my case). I hadn't seen your video until later. What I ended up doing, and it was pretty easy to do, was pop the grommet out (easier on the passenger side) an inch or so and then I carefully punctured a hole in the grommet just above where the normal cable bundle runs through, being careful to not stab the cable bundle of course. I was then able feed a number 12 piece of solid strand wire through the hole and grab it from inside. I then taped a pair of smaller wires to the larger, #12 wire, similar to what you did with the screwdriver, and was able to pull a pair of wires from the outside to the inside with ease. Anyway, just another way of doing it. Thanks for sharing your video! - Jim
