4-7-8 Breathing Technique
If I asked you “Are you feeling stressed out or anxious?” or “Does 8h of quality sleep feel like a distant memory” you might respond “Doesn’t everyone feel that way?”
Considering the state of the world right now (or for the past 3+ years…) your response probably wouldn’t be too far off from the truth.
Protecting your peace and prioritizing rest can feel like a superhuman task. We don’t have all the answer here at Empower Physio, but we have seen this chronic level of stress impact patients’ pain.
One tool you can use to help nudge your stress (and your pain) down even just a tiny bit, is 4-7-8 relaxation breathing.
The technique simply requires what the name implies:

    Hello but where ca you buy it if you live in europe? I have sometimes so much pain...since my hysterectomy.wish i could find somebody to get help but dr tells that i have nothing...this is so depressing to hear.😢

    How often should I do this and how much pressure, if any, should I put on my hands?

      For most people I recommend daily. There isn't any pressure on your hands. The goal of their position is simply to keep the rest of your vertebrae from moving, so you just need to interlace your fingers.

    I have long legs, bad knees, and I’m very inflexible. I’ve wanted to try and work up to a deep squat but it seem daunting. This is the first video suggesting using the wall. This will help heaps to gradually get me there with out putting too much pressure on everything. Cheers!!!
