You could get the same quality with any other entry level aps-c of any brand.. I have made weddings with Canon R100 with 24mm 2.8 and 50mm lens, this set cost 600€
My wedding photographer took about 60 images, Each was crafted to perfection and about ½ we made into an album. Why would any professional take over 3000 images?
very well deliveded and structured video, helps a lot, thank you!
Great Flash tutorial. That was very interesting
Me, I’m the somebody out there😂 Thanks for sharing!
Excellent info, thanks!
Well done good info well presented even for me still using x100T did you know the wide converter 0.75 made for the X 70 fits on the x100 and gives approx 26mm field of view also it's much cheaper than the wlc
These 3 lenses are enough for all. 100% of my photos are taken with these 3 focal lengths. Very good video and really good combo
I got one today that comes in Wednesday!...I found a refurbished fly more kit for $2199 so the fly more kit for the price of the magic 3 pro without the extras😮 worst case I return it and get the fly more kit non refurbished and new but hopefully it's finee
Latest firmware v1.10 & v1.11 cant use a very close mode
This video was so helpful!! Addressed my concerns and now I’m buying this for my friend’s bday coming up. She’s gonna love it 🙏🏾
Great job with the video. There's so much out there now and it's hard to stand out, but especially your presentation here is what makes it that much better, enjoyable to listen to! Also informative!
Youre reviews are soo good! Keep up!!❤
Great comparison thanks! I wish you could make same comparison but with people as subjects. I'm more interested in the TCL eventually since i gravitate more towards portraiture and 50mm is my fave focal length. The option to further crop to 70 and 100 while still having very useful mpx is a bonus. I do see a slight improvement in bokeh as well. Great to know you find it optically the better one. Shame they didn't make it smaller with a also a smaller filter size. I wonder if it happens to you too that the rim of the front 23mm lens scratches easily when screwing and unscrewing the converter lens. I saw various youtubers complaining about this. Also the fact that you need to unscrew the adapter and filter/hood before attaching the converters makes the process of changing back and forth a bit cumbersome. Looks like changing lenses on an interchangeable lens camera is easier and quicker.
i don’t get it, my x100vi has a 23mm lens not 35 base so i get something wrong?
Great video! You really showed off all the important details of the lenses.
I’m wondering. Can you use any brand flash, e.g. a Sony as the off camera flash and have it triggered b6 the X3? Or do you also need a Godox flash as your off camera flash? Thank you. Great videos you make.

Very nice. Why I bought the X100VI since there’s a conversion lens to be had.
You’ve made this sound exciting and fun enough for me to try. More please!
Outstanding. Answered all my questions. What a clear logical presentation.
What grip you are using on x100 vi ? I'm considering to use godox flash for o c f. Could you elaborate on customizations you did with buttons
There is no high speed synch option in the settings on the x3 for Fuji. How do i use high speed synch with the x3 for off camera flash? That is essential for outdoor photography and higher shutter speeds. I have the t-x5.
Hi, I just bought the camera and I recently watched your in-depth video, it was absolutely fantastic! Your expertise really shined through as you broke down the camera's features, especially when you delved into the conversion lenses. It's not often that we find reviews that are so thorough yet easy to follow. The way you explained the benefits and potential drawbacks of the conversion lenses was incredibly helpful. You made it clear how these lenses can enhance the shooting experience, which is something many might overlook. The sample shots you included really brought your points to life and helped visualize the differences in perspective. Your passion for photography and deep understanding of the FUJIFILM X100VI made this review a must-watch for anyone considering this camera. Thanks for providing such valuable content-I'll definitely be looking forward to more of your reviews in the future! Keep up the great work! A subscriber from India.
Can u make a quick video showing how to setup each button to these settings and also how they help you with real time shoots?
I can't get the X3 to work on my Fujifilm XH2 does anybody know the solution?
A very interesting video even to an amateur. Thanks for sharing.
Cool review. I love this flash!
Bro... step away from the hair dryer !!
Nicely layed out points there. To add to the first point (50mp at 30fps) it's also nice that the dynamic range doesn't drop to 12bit when you max out that speed with compressed raw. It does drop a bit to 13bit, but you don't notice it like you do with most other cameras. Oh and yes, the 21mp full frame mode can be shot in raw, as well as 12mp. Both of those small raws are de-mosaic'd though so don't play nice with some software. That means you get a full RGB per pixel though so that 12mp is ridiculously good!
You r Wasting time only for long video
Just ordered the Sony A1 moving from APS-C to Full Frame with the 24 and 50mm GM Lenses
Will this be a compatible with the ZV-1f?? NEED help bought this camera and can't find an external flash compatible?
loving your videos sir! Thank you!
How are jpegs backup if there's only one card? What about tracking moving subjects and keping them in focus?
My thoughts also
What is the small adapter for the Peak Design anchor? Where did you get it?
Rectangle.... really cool!
I just picked up an x100vi and used it at an event. I loved it but would not want 50mm to be my longest lens.
"Time will tell"... Why not make the video after some time, and then tell... What's the value in these kind of videos, I really don't get it. Once you have unboxed the item, use it for a bit, vouch for its quality or report its shortcomings and speak from a position of knowledge, that would add value and help inform your audience. You owe me 8 minutes!
You had my interest until you said only Sony. I’ve shot Canon pro gear since 1990 so lots of very high quality lenses typically sharper than the vast majority of Sonys. Think an R5 and R3 takes some beating. Add a 50mm f1.2 and my goodness….what more would you need…. I guess for newcomers Sony is slightly better priced and maybe a bit faster on focus at the very top level. So how come the majority of pros still use Canon? Maybe the UI is ‘simply the best’…..easy but versatile.
All hand held? No using a tripod?
Why do some of the square hoods have vent cutout in them???
the cutout is for the optical viewfinder, so you can see through the hood, since it blocks your view. If you switch to the electronic VF, then the hood blockage is not an issue. hopefully that makes sense.
@@movetomirrorless Thanks!!!
For anyone wondering: you can blow up a correctly taken 10 megapixel image well larger than you need. Poster size, and definitely large photo book size. For example a popular 00s DSLR like the Canon 20D was 8 Megapixels and would print large format successfully. 🫡
Why not just crop into the stock lense?
yes, you can do that, but you'll lose resolution. if you want to keep the 40mp then the only option is to use the tele-conversion lens. and if you do, you'll still have the option of cropping in even more if you want to get to 75mm or 100mm equivalent.
Nice job! Thank you
thank you for watching, glad you liked it!
I’d love Fuji to deliver a 45mm version of the x100.
Now, that would be interesting!
How do you get comfortable shooting to 1 SD card? I’ve had some SD card failures (Sandisk Pro cards), so I’m always a bit concerned.
I've been shooting weddings for almost 20 years. the first half of those 2 decades, all we used were cameras with 1 card slot.
@@movetomirrorless Makes sense! I really appreciate your videos. Sony wedding shooter as well, and your workflow and approach is very similar to mine. Not a lot of X100VI videos out there from our perspective.
Please more of this Flash talks
You do these videos really well - so hats off!
Thanks so much! I was thinking of doing more flash-talk videos, so I appreciate the feedback.
This really complicated things and I don’t like it.
That’s great and all but that’s still a good amount of bulky equipment with the light stand and umbrella. Any tips on achieving the same or similar look with just the trigger and one speed light? Thanks.
GOOD question. the main thing with light quality is this, if you want soft light, you'll have to diffuse it or alter it somehow... flashes by default are usually harsh sources of light. so if you are ok with that, you can just hand-hold the flash (which I sometimes do, if I don';t want to carry a light stand). this will still get it off the camera, you're just limited on how far you can hand hold the flash, then that introduces another problem. how long do you really want to hold the flash? it totally depends on what type of shoot you are doing.
@@movetomirrorless i don’t mind holding the flash but bringing a decent size soft box and setting it up is a buzz kill.
@@dzeng agreed. you what though, it did help that I Brought along a savage drop stand, instead of a regular light stand. if you haven't seen those, they're light stands where the legs collapse inwards when you pick it up from the ground and then drops down and away from the stand when you put it down. it saved me time when setting up.
