There is no option to download the request form anymore and Trading 212 just gives you the option to do it in the app like a normal bank transfer so I am confused. Can you help?

Don't use BT whatever you do. We had a 24 month contract with them. After a couple of months We were late for two payments and so they canceled our contract and charged us for the full 2 years plus penalties. It cost us over £2000 and we lost the service. This clause is hidden in BTs commercial contracts. So if you are a business or sole trader don't use BT as they will Rip you off. Good luck.

A very good video Arjun. The topic resonates with me as my companies workplace pension for the past seven years, invested at Legal and General, had about £12500 accumulated and invested by myself and my employer and when I came to draw it as a lump sum really saw the share values plummet until I would say that I was about £400 better off. Of course, as I was putting 3.5% of my wages and my employer was putting 5.5% + a 1% government tax relief then my personal contribution of £4375 returned me £8125 company and government contributions + £400 L&G investment gain. Of these two gains the investment part was pants. Now my company has entered me into a new SMART pension scheme with LifeSight and I quickly realised (after being a dope for the past seven years) that a) both L&G and LifeSight follow similar investment strategies. Both default to issuing a Cash Return and a Diversified Fund. The Diversified Fund of both companies are Passive investments and follow the FTSE 100 Index. If you were to put 100% of your money into Cash Return your investment would just steadily grow. b) The Diversified Fund is made up of highly volatile performers such as Bonds, Property etc and more stable, sure performers such as Equities. Of course, past performance is not a guarantee of future performance. So what I have done is to choose what I consider to be six steady growth investments, the Cash Return being one and so far I have seen my pot grow consistently, with minor dips. I also incur six fund fees, not just two. Between 2020 and 2021 the UK market took a tumble due to Covid but now seems to be recovering. My advice to anybody is to use the tools provided by your pension provider such as Fund Performance Booklets, Graphing Tools etc to assess fund value. It's your money, not theirs they are losing and you may be better off incurring slightly higher fund management fees to gain better returns. Remember, you will probably be able to go back to the original default funds later if you feel your choices have made things worse. I know I have been better off since I took charge of my fund choices. My next hurdle is to consider what I will do next. Based upon past performance the funds seem to reach a peak between January and March. Do I switch out of these funds then and switch back into new ones? Time will tell after I do more research.

Hi Arjun, On the Absences during the 5 year period: You did show the spreadsheet, did you submit any sort of boarding passess etc for your trips or all you have done is get Absences incorporated in your employer letter?

I am looking to open in the new TAX year new ISA with Trading 212? I don’t want to sell as I will loose heavily in my positions but if I keep with my current broker FreeTrade they will charge higher new subscription fee & higher FX fee? I am not to happy with this arrangement and been held to ransom? Question can I transfer individual stocks to my new stocks and shares ISA account without high charges? and if so the best way forward I have a limited time scale until 11th April 2023 or close my account with that broker?
