Yeah.. It's just a bit ridiculous because I know figures tend to go up in price when they're second-hand and no longer get produced, but a few of those attack on titan figures literally have a re-release and are currently in store for like half the price.

I'm so glad you love them! Fingers crossed you get to go in October! I understand what you mean. I wanted to add in my video that I think there are very specific scenarios in which a cat cafe could work, but that would've made it all too long. I think it can be a great alternative for rescues so long the cats in the cafe have a place to get away and are the type of cats who thoroughly enjoy human interaction. I also think that when it comes from a rescue perspective, it's almost a given that the needs of the cats come first. Like there are cats who will go and get a cuddle from everyone they can get one from; those cats would probably love to be in such a place. There should also be rules in place like you mentioned; no picking up the cats. Thankfully, they had those rules at the cafe I went to in Japan as well, but they hold up poorly when you can pay for a cat to be put in your lap forcefully (which I gathered from a review I read) or dress them up. So in short; it could work with cats under specific circumstances in my opinion simply due to the nature of some cats. But owls, piglets, hamsters, hedgehogs; those animals do not thrive in such a setting and Japan needs to step up. But I fear it's going to take a long time before they'll get there.

Thank you! I'm honestly glad my Japan videos are going well because I was really disappointed seeing how my footage turned out. A lot of it turned out pretty shaky and I've tried my best to stabilize everything, but its not yet at the level where I'd like it to be. I guess that just means I should go back to Japan and take a gimbal this time around!

@@liamdepam Yes, I'm from Germany, but my husband is Japanese. We met in Germany and he got a job offer here, so we had to decide what to do and then came to the conclusion to move 😆 There were some obstacles bureaucracy wise, but it all turned out well, so we're enjoying life in Japan now 😁

Hi! It's.. difficult. Not impossible, but difficult. Restaurants often have their menu’s outside with pictures of the food; you’ll see a crazy lot of them where you can’t get a single meal without meat. However, you can always ask they prepare an option without the meat (using a translation app). Sometimes part of the food is already prepared, so they can’t do it. Ultimately for anything with broth, you won’t know if meat has been used when ordering noodles, udon, etc. It was really hard for me to let go off that aspect, but I do not speak Japanese well enough and using translation apps it was sometimes already hard to establish whether there was meat in a meal to begin with. My best meal during the trip I had at Ichiran. Restaurants like these are a bit confusing, because you pay at a machine that may show meat on the screen. However, once you’re at your spot, you get a sheet where you can customise your noodles and choose not to have meat. Mos Burger (fast food chain kinda like mcdonalds) has a vegetarian burger. It wasn't all that great, but when you need dinner and there's nothing else around it'll do. You won’t find veggie burgers at McDonalds in Japan. At Tokyo Station there's T’s Tantan which was the best vegan food I've ever eaten, so I absolutely recommend it. In Kyoto I ate at a vegan restaurant called Falafel Garden which was really tasty. Do keep in mind that vegan restaurants are generally (much) more expensive than non-vegan restaurants (in my experience). Komeda's Coffee (a bigger chain) has really good egg salad sandwiches. There is also Falafel Brother's which has good food. At convience stores, you can find rice balls and my fav; inari sushi which is flavoured rice wrapped in fried tofu. Bakery’s are your best friends for lunch too! If you're going to themed cafes, always check the menu first. At the Harry Potter cafe, I couldn't even eat something from the main menu; I had to stick to a side salad. That's not really worth it when you have to pay a reservation fee also. Ultimately, if you’re getting hungry and you do pass a restaurant where you see a tasty veggie option on the menu; go for it. I’ve eaten dinner at 3 or 4 pm sometimes. If I didn’t and I couldn’t find anything after I’d find myself eating fries at McDonalds which isn’t what your body needs when you’re walking around all day. Hope this helps!
