Winter Gliding at Kenley - GoPro mounted on the wing!
Close the window: +1mph 😊
Is there a build vid for this ,what engine ?
68 mp/h =110 km/h? 😱😱
Worst camera man
Hows that 😂😂
Wow.
This thing needs a good silencer
70kmph hmm not bad
70 mph !
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! One of the best vids out there of the little KR showing the world what it can actually do. Long may it keep doing it!
It Sounds like royal racing F1
great way to enjoy speed ... thanks for sharing
Wonderful, bloody wonderful. Wish I had one....
5:13😂😂😂😂epic overtaking
look at our future!
Ein super Video 👍 und mein Lieblings Auto Gruß Helmut aus Frankfurt am Main
You are braver than me!!!!
I loved every second of that. Thanks Andy.
This was great to watch Andrew. Most other videos I've seen of people test driving a KR, an Isetta or other bubble car, invariably they bang on about how unsafe it is and refuse to attain any speed, and or they demo the car in such a poor state of tune, it barely runs! You clearly love your little 'Schmitt and it's great to see you stretching it's legs. I only wish I could afford one, but I'm very glad to have my 2cv. I bought her for the grand sum of £30 in 2000 before the prices skyrocketed! (edit, I now see the car belongs to a chap called Peter. Apologies!)
Sounds like an aircraft about to take off ,smoked a few & showed them your soot .They should make new versions of these for motorcycle licence holders .I remember these & the bubble cars with a door on the front that opened with steering wheel ,I think they were called Isetas & also the 3 wheeled Invacars for the disabled .There were some wonderful & wacky vehicles about in the day .People were just glad they had their own cars or motorcycles & not that bothered how they looked as long as they did the job .from A to B .Good vid 👍
Have you checked out Hubnut's videos on his Invacar? He rescued one from a field, and re-registered it to make it road legal again!
"If she had a set of wings man I know that she would fly . . . "
Really enjoyed that Andrew. Actually overtaking the Chelsea Tractors! Well done!
I enjoyed that. The KR I had in the early 1960's did those speeds but it was tuned. Can't get anything like that with my currant KR. Thanks for that Andrew it took me back to my youth.
I can see my house! Again. Again
Awesome 😎 👌🏻
Wow daredevil or what, is that the VMax Yamaha?
I bought one of the few Vega's here in the States and would love to know more about the glider. Any info you might have would be greatly appreciated. #1923 N8477H. Rod@calventuremanagement.com
Its very rare but does happen. Both females will have laid eggs and they will both feed them. These people have had this situation THREE times!!!! www.biggonline.co.uk/
it is stickier than most altimeters but as Steve says, you're better off looking out of the window.
Yikes - sticky altimeter?! Not what you want!Beautiful circuit, Andrew! So great you've got your glider now.(Don't know why it took so darn long to launch. Sorry about that.)
i was surprise to find myself on this film ! what a great souvenir !
There was no final approach and landing Roger, this was the footage retrieved from the camera by the AAIB after they found the glider wreckage on the side of the mountain! Seriously though, stunning footage.
What a super experience. Sad we couldn't see the airfield, final approach & landing.
Nailed it :)
The tyres weren't in the best shape on that lap! The weather was hot and the engine was overheating. I'd done a couple of slow laps to let it cool a bit and I knew that this would be my last lap of qualifying. Trouble was that the tyres had cooled too and picked up a lot of rubber, so their grip was poor until they cleaned up half way round. After 35 happy years of racing I decided to hang my helmet up at the end of the 2010 season. I've since taken up flying gliders!
great video , nicolas courtonne , kr onwer and vespa 400 green during rallye
'A problem there, a bit hairy'.....lol...nice understatement of understeer at eau rouge!
Watched all 4 parts. My back is aching too!
Finally some sun and blue sky!
'Shame the video is shrunken horizontally making everything distorted.
Nice vid, makes me want to go one year even more now.
Good fun!
Would have been 5 stars if the song sound level was less - gotta hear the engine & tire sounds more!
