Unpopular opinion but Zoe and Bianca seemed to have more romantic chemistry than she and Maggie. I think if Zoe had been played by an actual trans woman today, they would be my favorite Bianca pairing. Reese was my second favorite for on screen chemistry but I wish they could have showed more of their story on screen. That said I do think Liz and Eden have great chemistry just not romantic.

I really think Bianca would have taken Maggie back when she came in January of 2017. But whether it was behind the scenes stuff with contracts and whatnot, or the showrunners really really really wanted to focus on the Bianca/Zoe moments...we never got the chance to see them happy and in love on screen. I've always thought that one of the reasons Bianca ends up crying so much in BAM's last boathouse scene is Eden being sad over Liz leaving, everything the two of them put into their characters, etc....the way Bianca was when she came back this time was so unlike her.

This was one of my favorite eras of the show. I loved that Erica had a son, that Kendall & Bianca had a brother, the character of Zarf/Zoe and the beautiful Thorsten Kaye as Zach Slater. I loved how tender he was with Lily, how he gave her a job as his assistant & how she and Jonathan became a couple after his brain surgery. But once TPTB killed off the Fusion women followed by Josh turning evil before he died so Kendall could get a heart it was just a little too much for me. I kept watching until the final episode, though, but this era was just fabulous IMHO.

Leave it to Ryan and fucking JR to be so sensitive and compassionate. I think this was Megan McTavish's very LAST storyline as head writer of AMC. I think it was called the "Pine Valley Slayer"?
