Simple tips and tricks to using feathers in your projects.
great job. Thanks I learned a lot.
Yes thank you
no problem, i'm glad it was helpful!
Excellent tutorial!🐞
I arrived here by accident and stayed - Thank you : ) Feathers are brittle and break too when they are dry. A tip - hold them over some steam to soften them and they'll be less likely to break and its easier to curl them. Try it on the 'funny' one and see the result!
Brilliant- thanks
don't get your panties in a wad curling those feathers
Great! Thank you!
Thank you so much! I wasn't sure how I was going to make my feathers look fancy! :)
Thanks for sharing!
I was needing to groom two large feathers and one was no responding to the upward smoothing and still looked pretty ragged. I used my tea kettle, and exposed the feathers to steam as I groomed... stream... then groom... steam, then groom. The feathers came together nicely and look great.
Bad practice! feathers should stay in the wild.
usually they are salvaged from poltry such as roosters, larger birds are not plucked clean these feathers have dropped from birds in aviaries, and so on ui do not think people kill birds for the feathers, and then there are the imitation feathers
i don't use a knife i use a pencil
I enjoyed the tutorial, but the sound was so low, even though the micro was on maximum, that the speech was barely perceptible.
wonder if fake feathers curl
