Masterfully perfected in the art of stylistically pure baroque partite improvisation, very beautiful variations on the cantus firmus "Jesu meine Freude" are heard. At the beginning, Sietze de Vries improvises in organo pleno manner in which the cantus firmus is occasionally heard with a beautiful, powerful reed stop in the pedal. A flowing process. The second movement with an imitative beginning (which sounds somewhat sighing) now carries out the cantus firmus with a very beautiful, singing reed stop in the pedal and ritornello-like interludes. A charming trio follows at the end. Bedankt.

I am enchanted and incredibly impressed. By the beauty of the counterpoint. And the never-ending joy of playing, including the excellent technical perfection. It is a wonderful pleasure to listen to Sietze de Vries improvising these imaginative partita movements on "Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan". It takes time and tranquillity to listen to these valuable variations. I am also enchanted by the beautiful impressions of this video and the beautiful Bätz organ. A special moment, bedankt.

Ich wußte gar,nicht, dass "unser" schönes, altes Marienlied ausserhalb vom Bistum Trier bekannt ist. Es ist hier ganz in der Nähe, der Südeifel entstanden und ist fest verbunden mit der Marienwallfahrtskirche Klausen. Der Melodieverlauf variiert leicht zur hier gespielten Version.

I am very touched by the incredible beauty of the sound, the powerful, rich tone colours of the Wegscheider organ in the Sankt Jakobi church in Stralsund. I am equally moved by Sietze de Vries' performance of the music of Jacob Praetorius. Sietze de Vries' excellent playing radiates a great sense of calm. The music is accompanied by beautiful impressions of the historic organ case/prospectus and the beautiful console.
