Can you use a multiplier on that rod🎉
@@Anthonyinkz hi,you could use a multiplier with the rod,but it's more suited to a fixed spool reel 👍
Nice catch 👍🏻 Were in Norway is this?

That is some stunning scenery and what cracking fish! Halibut on SG seekers? Superb, mate! I’m booking my flights to Brodo! Can I ask - did you rent a car and take your gear in hold luggage? I ask cos I got bumped taking lures to Cork in carry on luggage and lost all my hooks/ pliers. So pop it in the hold? Any tips on travelling with rods etc? Love the lure action and what a fish for your old man; total belter! Cheers and tight lines.
@@garyweston5116 cheers mate appreciated,we take our rods ,rod rests, over in a travel tube, tape a smaller tube on the side and put leads, jig heads, spinners in there,, I keep it to about 16kg,if you fill it to 23kg the airline tend to leave your tube, all my other fishing gear goes in main luggage, bait in a bucket in two freezer bags , in main luggage we rent a van from rent a wreck, 10mins walk from Bodo airport,, great guy sort out with him , he'll pick you up,hope that helps ,hope you bag up,cheers for the comment 👍

Hi m8 great video. I fish mostly ate northeast humberside. I have fishes at rossal twine this year and had few smooth hounds. Is rossal a good point for codlin and white in winter
@@mumtazzafar5696 hi mate it can be, last years winter fishing at rossal was very slow ,hoping this years winter fishing is better ,,much better stamp of fish from the northeast I think mate ,cheers for the comment 👍
@seafishingjunky733 the only problem I see fishing at rossal is that on a big tide the water floods in through the gullies very quick and it floods out pretty quick at the ebb leaving not enough time to fish as well as the depth. As I said I normally fish at North east coast which is around Humberside. I live in Bradford so it's exactly the same distance from Bradford either if I go north east or north west. Can you still fish at rossal from high to low water in winter for codlin and whitings.
@@mumtazzafar5696 hard now ,the new sea defence wall has spoilt the high water fishing ,I only fish over low there now,or just fish back till the tide knocks u off..
Sexy
May i ask what size is the saltiga reel thanks

Beautiful fish, and congratulations to the angler and the guide. I have never heard of a Coalfish before. Is this a European species or does it exist elsewhere too ?

Can't beat it! Nice👌
You can't billy 👍
Remember to NEVER eat ANY fish caught closer to a salmon farm than 5 km, EVER since the fish will have eaten food from the fishfarm and with it all the CRAP that is in the food and nope that's no joke.....
100% true, never entered my head to eat fish from places close to fish Penn's, but they can hold some great fishing,,more of a sports fisherman really and 95% go back to the sea ,but thanks for the advice 👍
Oh yeah the area around the penn's hold a LOT of fish and sooner or later one of the big hallies will shred your gear to pieces and you wont even be mad about it because you felt the power:)@@seafishingjunky733
Halibut from shore on lures, on purpose. That’s class fishing, not many people can say that.
Ye great sporting fish to target from the shore on lures,,and I like to return most fish to fight another day, cheers mate for the comment, appreciate it 👍🇳🇴
Put your bucket in the middle of all the casts, and work around the bucket clockwise if right handed. When you pull the pump out pull the pump towards your body so the worm drops right on your toe. Once i mastered that technique my numbers went from 500s to 900s on a good day around spring time.
Cheers mate i will give it a go ,,every day's a school day👍
