Hi, I'm Kim. "Oasis" means a green, fertile area in arid conditions. A refuge. A place of relief and pleasant contrasts. That's what Olive City Oasis is to me. I live in hot, dry northern California where summer temps are 105° to 115°F for months.

Gardening and growing a small orchard can be easy and enjoyable for anyone - beginners, seniors, people with health challenges, and those growing in small spaces, too!

I enjoy passing along ideas for a simple living approach to life, and I aim to keep things down-to-earth, casual, and interesting! Occasionally, I talk about self-care through nature as I believe regularly experiencing nature is very beneficial to our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
