Hello, can you guide me on how to use the commands on Flow Control Command such as the label goto if goto command?
@@puluongtv-1991 I wish I could do a video for you, but I don’t have a license anymore. It would be good to give you a couple of examples. I’ll try my best to explain without a video. Basically, if a certain condition exists you may want to jump to a different part of the program. For example, you could ask the operator if they want to do a manual alignment or skip to DCC mode. If they say no, the you would use the IF GOTO function to skip to a LABEL. It would look something like this, “IF c1.input=“no” GOTO LABEL:DCC Align. That may not be the exact correct code needed, but it would be similar. You can use the expression builder to know what the code is supposed to look like. To create a label, place you cursor in the section of the code you want to GOTO and insert a LABEL and give the label a name or title. I have also used IF GOTO like a loop but only if a condition exists. For example, lets say you have a hole that has a really tight tolerance and you want to check it again if it is out of tolerance but using more points. I hope this is helpful.
@@Byoung5198 thanks a lot
Hello Brad! i have been enjoying and learing a lot form your tutorial videos. Thank you for making them. I would like to see some video on calibrating and using a cylindrical probe. especialy when i want to measure a thin edge with the shak portion of the tip rather than the spherical edge. I would appriciate it very much if you guide me to some videos on this topic please.
I'm working on aquiring another license of PCMDIS as my demo license expired. I hope to be able to create more videos soon.
Love it! I am excited to have an actual system to budget with! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the video, like the other commentator I too would love to see and learn more about the Hexagon CMM systems.
Thank you for your comments. Things may be changing for me soon that would allow me to provide some more videos. What kind of training or tips would be helpful for you?
I am a new inspector in a cnc machine shop and am trying to handle education the best I can using the tesa/ hexagon systems on a discovery 3 Sheffield CMM. I don't mind paying out of pocket but as the other commenter pointed out, Hexagons package is well over 2K and from my own inquires costs even more as the system utilized in my situation is a few years older than what they have going on in that workshop. I believe the biggest focuses I would like to see, is programming for inspecting production parts and ideas for the CMM fixturing, understanding calibrating probes like what this video has shown off (I am excited to attempt this.) and tips and tricks on ensuring repeatable measuring from one cmm to another using GD&T.@@Byoung5198
Please give more vedio about PC dmis
I'm sorry. I don't have a PCDMIS license anymore.
Thanks Brad for your video. Can you move the trihedron somewhere in space with Z points some direction not perpendicular to any surface and then show us how to transfer and rotate back to its lower left corner of top view? Is there an option that you just click on a surface then the Vector will be automatically normal to that surface? I found this option very useful on Mitutoyo Mcosmos. Thanks for time!
I'm sorry. My license expired, so I'm not able to make any new vidoes, but I'm working on aquiring a new license. Auto vector point are always normal to the surface. Try using those.
Ive just tried to import A CAD but its come with two white dots and lnes and i cant add any measurement points without is moving to the white dots
If you tried to import a cad file as a .stp file and have extra things like lines and dots, try improrting the file as a .igs file. That usually cleans things up. I occaisionally see bad .stp files for some reason.
Brad, thanks a lot! This was very helpful.I'm new to PC Dmis, have you thought about doing a tutotial with a simple part on how to create a measuring routine start to finish?
Unfortunately my offline license has expired, so I'm not able to do the videos anymore. I had a whole list of videos that I was going to create, so I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to do these anymore. I'll work on seeing how I can do a support group or something. I'm not great at all this social media stuff.

I use readouts to bring up the probe readout window when I need to manually take a point, say at or near a given Polar radius or Z height.
Thanks for sharing.
Can you make more PCDMIS tutorials and tips? The Hexagon course is like $2,000
Thank you for your comments. Things may be changing for me soon that may allow me to do more videos. What training or tips would be helpful to you?

Could you please make video composite position tolerance alignment
Yes, I would be happy to. Hopefully, I can get that done soon.
Have you ever added a little maple flavoring to the syrup?
Yes, my mother-in-law makes her syrup that way. Yummy!
Love the choice in music and apron! 😂
Yeah, I was going for elevator music, so I'm glad you noticed.
Very helpful, thank you. Would love to see some videos on alignment.
You got it!
It’s not a "tetrahedron", but a "trihedron". "Tetra" means four.
Thanks
hi...interesting videos on PC-DMIS.. i have a question about building a feature control frames for cylinders, whats the difference in building it with or witout the diamter sign in front of the trueposition? any help is appreciated. i can send you a mail if i get your email address. thanks.
I'll do some digging into it. I typically just match what is on the print whether it is wrong or not. It is usually an up hill battle arguing with engineering that their drawing is wrong.
I’m glad. Is there anything else you would like to learn that I could make a video on?
What is your Facebook? I have some problems when applying MBD to PC-DMIS and need your help.
Beautifully presented, l learned something useful from the video. Xie Xie!

Good times! ☺️
Did you ever do this hike in the fall time? Were the colors amazing? Was the river still flowing? Thanks!
Yes, the best time in the is around the last week of September. That's when the colors are most vibrant.
