Guess I’m gonna start making maps, I made about a half dozen maps on far cry 5’s map editor. Got pretty good, could make a 30-40 minute mission in 16-30 hours.

Man Forge has come a long way hasn’t it? From just building small stuff and fun little things, from making ‘big’ race tracks for the race game mode to creating iconic game modes like Fat Kid, Get out of my House, Cops vs Robbers, Grifball (although I know RvB made that but I’m saying the community as a whole), Speed Halo, Jenga, Jumprope, Duck Hunt, and many more to starting to script things from halo 2A and halo 5. To now this, creating nodes and even more advanced scripting in halo infinite, to now getting to create your own campaigns in infinite, it’s crazy how far we’ve come. From just having fun building things with friends, siblings, or just by yourself to now creating passion projects because of so much you can do now with it. It truly is a time to be alive of being a forger

When I was a kid making my Halo 3 Forge Maps trying to record my videos this is what my maps look like in my mind back then it blows my mind and makes me so happy to live in a time where it is now possible to make your dreams come true in forage

I think more forge mini-campaign levels like this need to be made with equipment switching like Infinite's main campaign had. Though, some of them are small and cramped for a reason so it makes sense not to have them and I understand why.

Would love if 343 made a forge tournament where the best campaign forge missions will be taken to make a mini campaign with voice acting and story.

All that's left is just for 343 to add a dedicated gamemode template, custom music playing/scripting and maybe fix a few bugs where sometimes the kill hit markers don't come out.

I think when you give the community the tools to create stuff, things will be made much faster because the community tends to work with each other and thus progress tends to make things faster. We have videos on YT already with tutorials on how to make AI the cool stuff they can make. Not to mention the fact people make scripting prefabs which prefabs can be shared. So progress is made even faster with that fact.

Maybe now we can get re-creations of events in the books

love the video, just hate the idea of " somewhat better than 343 kinda negative vibe" gotten old man, they did give you forge to start with anyway.

The AI is brand new and still needs a lot of polish especially with aggression. That this is now in the hands of forger/players is excellent news and this is great for the time to develop you've had since season 5 dropped. Looking forward to how this work matures!

Best case scenario is they take this and apply it to mcc, specifically for halo 3, reach, and 4.

I absolutely love this, I too am creating a 3 mission campaign based on earth during the banished invasion, plan to have 3 campaigns on earth before taking to someplace more wild however that's in the future. For now my first mission is almost done I'll most likely upload a video just like this on my RUclips channel.

People forget that 343 fired over 10000 devs, only 300 or so remained and they all work on the multi-player, there's no one left to work on the campaign
