It will not work on 2018 , since 3g internet is gone without app access it is disabled which makes no sense but that's how Lexus did it.

Where did you Jack the car up? On the side jack points or in the middle under the front?

You clearly had to remove the AC condenser, (discharge and recharge at some point), would have been helpful to see that process also.

I would LOVE to own one of these LC500’s. Absolutely stunning car, and a BEAUTIFUL sounding naturally aspirated V8. I can NOT believe that he seriously put a Fram filter on a $100,000 Lexus! 😢 My Scion does not even get that type of treatment! Nothing but Toyota TRD filters for it. Dude should just give this Lexus to me, I would treat it FAR better! Lol

Thanks, by chance have you done a transmission fluid change/flush? Did it for my gs350 and wanted to do it for the lc500. Wonder if it’s similar, drain, verify how much drained out and fill with same amount.

Great Great guide. The hardest part of this job is not having the right tools for the job. The two small hose were the most difficult to remove from the radiator. Something that I'll invest into those hose line removal tool. Other then that it was pretty easy

Thanks for the video. However, you used synthetic oil, which is wrong. The engine in the LC500 specifically calls for regular, non-synthetic oil. This is also what the Lexus dealer is required to use in this car!!!

The only step by step video I have found to help me fix my own car thank you sir but one question what is the brown oil that leaks out when removing the two small hoses at the bottom of the radiator 😅

I’m going to have this car soon. I’ll be back here when it’s time for an oil change! One thing, how do you know which way the Fram oil filter goes on? I changed mine on my GS350 with the letters up top at first but it wasn’t fitting right. I then turned it around and it seemed to click into place. I really hope I did it the right way. By the way, I’d recommend switching to Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-30. Much better oil than Mobil 1.

So I accidentally removed my boot off of what I believe you pull out, the cv joint. How can I replace the grease in that boot? I don't see a "nipple" to attach my grease gun too. Thank you, PERFECT VIDEO. Wish I had found it before I replaced everything.

Mevotech is much easier and has an adapter to press it in, rather than risk damage to the new ball joint. Also you really should wear proper footwear when doing something like this. Be safe👍

How did you get to the 2 other nuts in the back on top of the struts? Especially the one closest to the fender. Can't get them to budge
