Does the mini switch have the option to allow you to press it once to activate the infinite mode for example without having to hold it down? Or do you have to press it the entire time in order to get the effect? I want to use this in conjunction with an expression pedal on my rig to create ambience but it would be extremely limiting if I was only able to hold it down in order to get infinite mode because then I wouldn’t be able to use the expression pedal to swell

The j45 is my favorite sounding recorded guitar. Never played one in person that I enjoyed half as much as the ones I’ve heard my whole life on recordings.

My minimalist setup: Telecaster--->Tuner---->Volume Pedal----->Mesa F-50 3 Switch Controller ------> F-50 amp in an isobox, mic'd with a KSM-32. Killer clean and overdrive tones.

I grew up with the same mentality about Martin. Believe it or not, the first one I got to play was a Martin D45 at age 10. A friend’s dad had it and let me try it out. It was like wielding Excalibur before even really knowing how to fight 😅… Martins are AMAZING guitars, but they are definitely expensive

Your minimal is twice the size of what i consider too big of a board would be. Maybe church money is better than the money I make playing as a full time musician!??

Are the effects stereo ? If so does that mean you can now get true stereo from the tonex left n right outputs instead of having 2 tonex to do that.

The sound of this and other videos was the reason to buy this pedal. But in my case, the sound is not so beautiful. Perhaps I have to change the facory settings or other modi??? I also connected the pedal with different acoustic guitars (Martin DCPA4, Godin Multiac Steel, Fender Acoustasonic Jazzmaster and Dajon with new L.R Baggs Pickup Hifi Bridge). In every case I am not really happy with the sound, independly which Preamp (Carl Martin Acoustic Gig or Acus One M8 / Boss Singer Live amp) I use. Thanks for a hint to find a solution.

How do you capture amps with this? Or do you need more than this to do that....im assuming you can only download captures people put on the web.

Fellow guitarist here in need of help lol. Ive followed and watched your video numerous times incase I missed a step but still having an issue setting the "favourite mode" Upon completion of setting up procedure, whenever I press the mini-switch to recall my desired setting, I'm getting this infinite forte ensemble setting instead. I made sure the jumper inside is set to "favourite mode" and the light is on the "amber" setting. Please help.. Thankyou

Thank goodness, I was going to say the difference is subtle, and it seems most folks agree! Nice! (Volume difference, yes, but the tone is pretty close)

I have the same guitar and my 5 way switch has also gone out on me. Thought about just upgrading the electronics

Thanks for your honesty on the BigSky MX. I agree, if you want it and you dig it, and you can afford it - get it. I am struggling with deciding which one to get or to just go with a cloudburst. Wish someone who didn’t seem to just hate the MX because of the price would do a comparison. I’m sure in a few years it will be everyone’s favorite though. Congrats on the guitar too!

I found a gold top DGT SE and can say for the guitar's new or used pricepoint, it is one of the best electric guitar values period. I play it more than my core singlecut.

Can I just say I really love those tones from around 1:26 to 4:30 ish? Man, I purchased so much this year but some of my favorites are Wampler Re-Wired, Catalinbread Sidearm, Keely Halo, Boss SDE-3000... to name a few. I got more gear than I can handle so I've been putting together multiple boards and experimenting. At the same time, I've been working overnights so it's hard to truly find time to do all that I want to. Anyway, great video, great playing! I definitely want the first pedal, didn't care for the Helix One thing or the drive pedals but that's just because I have bought so many drive pedals this year when they released. You sound great and awesome playing. I can't wait to see what gear you pick up for 2025!

You can do the 4 cable set up to have individual presets decide where in the chain they appear. Downside to that? Have to run it mono.

With TONEX FX now, you could dial 1 in as the amp and mod/delay/reverb, set a clean, breakup and tap tempo to the switches on it and run the other into the front of it with 3 of your overdrive captures and the comp always on. Two of these could be your whole rig in a pinch.

Aside the clean tones. I like the heavy overdrive, and I like overdrive, but either way, besides the neck on the Silver Sky's, that I prefer. I like the fact, even though it's a single coil bridge, it's so more beefy and useable. It's not entirely the bell and jingle, with comparable Fender tones, but it's got a sort of crisper, thicker tone to me, while it's got Mayer's bias sound. I had the Ever Green SE, in the process of selling it off, since I own the Moon White now, plays and sounds better somehow, but the stone blue, storm grey, piano Black, even the overland grey, maple, are great SE finishes. My only silly complaint, it's not really ugly, but I do understand how the Silver Sky's have a hipster modern Fender aesthetic to them.
