    Move the upper thumb mount higher. Bring dipper in as far as it goes and weld tabs higher. Keep in mind to keep a bit of angle in tooth claw if it is straight it can go both directions randomly every time you use it.

    I would think on a machine of that size you would just swap the bucket pins and not bother with a quick connect. It would probably take about the same amount of time and not loose force and add weight.

      It takes about 5-7 min to change pins without quick-connect, which is fine. but the pins are really greasy and I’ve extended the thumb to match with the quick connect. I also like that the boom has more reach.

      @@torkelsenhus you are located where? Some cheap ones that can cut about 12mm are in Europe about 200€. But its the max cut. Clean cut is about 6-8mm.

    What is the towing rating for your Toyota? I'm surprised it can tow that trailer & excavator.

      It can tow 2x tons. The machine is 1x ton and the trailer is 500kg, so I can actually pull a larger machine than this.

    U need a grade #8 bolt for the attachment buddy u got to have cold harder bolts to handle that amount of pressure n abuse

    Your turning this place around ! Your eye for making a job come out clean is impressive. Keep up the work. You definatley need a compost pile to make soil to build up material over the rocks.

    Excellent job - do you expect the ground will sink at all where you dug? And that you may see the dig marks? Also - do you expect grass to grow normally there?

      I expect it to sink a little where I dug it by hand, but that will also lead surface water into the ditch. Grass will grow just fine on top of it. The dig marks will diseapper, I might go over with a rake when it all dries up.

    You need to go and pack that dirt around those. That's 2 tons 275 l times 8.2 a Gallon ugot it sitting on a soft foundation with some pilots.

      Yes, It is. Can’t remember exactly, but the same as other diesel engines.

      I have a mini excavator with the same engine, but I'm worried about whether or not white smoke is normal when starting when cold, I'll ask you another question, do you know where the oil filter is located? Thank you!

      The smoke thing is normal for a diesel. The oil filter is a washable small filter besides the front filler cap. You have to loosen a screw, then you can take it out and blow it with an air compressor.@@Musettone81

      Yes, it's loud, but it's not that load on low rpm. There was a rattling sound you can hear in the video, turns out it was a loose hatch.
