Uncle Todd's Garage
Добавлен 24 фев 2020
Here on Uncle Todd's channel you will get to watch me build, create, weld, fabricate, repair and most likely destroy some things. Some of these "things" will be welding, fabricating, cars, trucks, side by sides, motorcycles, ATV's, golf carts and anything else fun. I am not a professional. I am a self taught do-it-yourselfer. So anything I show here will be my interpretation of the right way to do something. But with that said I do look forward to any and all comments, suggestions and criticisms. I will be learning some of these things on camera so that maybe we can all learn together. I have lots of fun ideas and I cant wait to share them with everyone! Thanks for stopping in and if any of this sounds like fun to you then please consider subscribing and liking the videos! Some people have asked how I got so good at fixing stuff and I can only say that I'm very good at breaking stuff!

Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Soft Cab Enclosure for your RZR XP1000 (if your car year is 2014-2023
The carbs on these are picky. Definitely won't run right without the air filter assembly properly hooked up. Good quads but seems like its once a year maintenance to clean the carb even if you run the good gas.
The sticker was not crooked 😂😂😂
bro what's up with you hitting everyone? is it on purpose or is it indeed an accident? I thought it was funny. I never seen golf carts off road either that was different! Man, i would love to be able to make it out there. we have been to holly oaks, the mounds, Bull gap, west branch, st Helen, Houghton Lake up to Wellston.
It’s an 2001 I have the same one and the same thing was done to it keep it up❤
Y
Y? Lol. It’s a good unit and I may have future plans for it. I’d invite to subscribe so you can find out!
Love it ❤
Perfect man cave! Good info ! And yes vice grip garage 👍🏼
Looks great , now it's begging for a lil healthier engine 😉
Hiya, Looks good how does it ride or track down the road and how the exults work out , now im getting the urge to work on mine again lol
Rippin fella's. Couldn't stand that first song of clip. It sounded like wear your seatbelt beep, drove me crazy, rather hear machine. Avagud1
What’s the part number
Hiya, I have a 1939 chevy pickup that I to am working on and have got everything but the glass its not stock but was when I got it years ago drove it home lol , but putting a turbo buick v6 with all kinds of go faster parts into the truck corrvette rear running stock straight axle but cut into for a better ride but for now it may have to wait till next year got other things that just keep me from working on it
That sounds awesome! I know the feeling, hence mine sat for 18 years. I finally made it a priority this year. There are Amazon sellers that offer all 4 windows in a set, some are even factory tinted. Reasonably priced too!
thank you i will check it out@@uncletoddsgarage
how did you make that temp fuel tank
It’s just a quart bottle with a gear lube nozzle on it so I could attach a hose.
thank you@@uncletoddsgarage
I have never, and will never have this issue.
You and I would have a great time in the garage wrenchin'.. I have a 1952 Willy Jeep with a SBC, th350 trans and Ford 9". It is one of a kind but, it can be a real challenge getting things to work together. Love watching your progress.
Thanks man! Plenty more to come on this!
😂 I feel your pain
Yep, ignition timing.
that's clever we might start doing that with our 50s chevy
Nice!!!! 🤪🇺🇸🤠
🤭 *promo sm*
Idiot sometimes?? I’d have to say you were born that way! 😊
the threaded part of the heim joint is still a weak link. No matter how pretty you make it this part will fail. We had to make 3/4 inch joints. and still break racks.
Liked how you diagnosed the high idle
I had same codes come up then limp mode. Mine was a bad plug wire.
Love the video! Take it easy on the ranger juice next time! 😂
So if I use a jump box to mirror what you did what would I need to do exactly? I’m a little confused sorry. I have a 2004 Polaris 400 that does the same exact thing. Try starting and only get the click at the solenoid. Thanks
What was the issue ? Bad starter ? I just started having the same problem.
Yes I replaced the starter and that was the trick at least for me
@@Troy77787 I think that’s my problem. Thanks for getting back to me !
I have no idea 😂

I changed belt, spark plugs and wires and still got same code.. does it need to be reset? Or whats after you changed that?
Did you figure it out man?
I gave a thumbs up cause the information on the CVT is priceless... Wish the voice was a little louder and the music not so loud..
Thank you for the 👍🏻. I appreciate the constructive criticism as well. I’ve since updated my equipment and also adjusted the music volume.
i saw the car last week at boyne mtn!!
I sold it then it was sold again. Super stoked to hear that it’s on the road. I would love to talk to the new owner.
Here it is 2022 same issue, after several times to the dealership with my machine checking the belt, not the problem, checking this checking that and went to another cold year and I'm having the same problem
Have you replaced the belt? It could have a flat spot in it that you can’t see or feel.
Why are you selling the sunfire
I sold it a while back. The new owner has it listed now.
I’m your biggest fan
Why are ya selling it?
I actually sold it a few months ago. The new owner has it listed now.
@@uncletoddsgarage oh, thats kinda weird but I understood
Piece of sh it i regret not to buy a denfender. 1500km and a fuck in code in the dash and all cv joint loose and a jerky start
No rev-limiter no valid all that money and work and you can play sweet music ? Now I have to ? Gotta leave the light like that every time to get 5starts
Thanks for watching but wtf language is that??
Thanks so much for the info i have a 2020 xp4 and was having the same issue ..i took my belt off and yes the belt was damaged very helpful 👍
Hahahahahahahahaha all intensive purposes hahahahahahahahaha
I have the same problem with my 17 ranger xp 1000 so I did a research and it seems like the belt supposed to have a washer and if it doesn’t have it would throw that check engine light code , plus seat belt sensors are a pain in the butt does are the only things that can be!!! So a mechanic recommend me to just flash and tune the computer to clear sensitivity , better performance and better drive train suspension ride!!! Is a win win !!!!! Thanks for the video very nice trail
So how to flash and tune?
Definitely belt slippage. A clutch going bad will do the same thing until it finally gives
Pretty sure the belt had a flat spot. It had a vibration under hard acceleration until it blew. Ran perfect after the new belt.
Holly molly that must have been freakey as heck when you rolled in the water! Great video!
Man that's awesome!
Nice lol and the fangs look awesome
