This shows all of Bruce talent: this was an audition and he clearly adapted his voice to Di Anno's tempo and tone, with a light touch of his classic operatic-soprano voice...the next album he will totally replace Di Anno's punk-style-voice trademark and stablish his own style, then, years before, he will play this same songs at his own way. A true Master, Bruce.

Oh, it's horrible, especially Wrathchild, but they could tell that they could write new stuff with him. He was never going to do Paul's tunes justice.

I love all that Bruce did but those first albums with Paul have some of my favorite Iron Maiden tunes that only Paul could do . Iron Maiden is played in so many of my happy memories as a teenager ! Love them !

Very interesting. The first 2 albums better suit Di Anno's lower range I think. It seems that after Bruce got onboard they made the lyrics reflect his higher range.

Totally different sound from the first 2 and number of the beast, but that’s not that uncommon for bands to sound different when someone new is introduced to the mix.

Absolutely sucks. Dianno may have remained friends with Harris, but I think Harris is a total brain dead bitch for replacing Dianno. Bruce sucks.

When we were kids, we thought of Di'anno as one of us. Just a guy who could sing. Dickinson was more like a performer, too dramatic and showbiz for the likes of us.

Bruce is fine.... But Clive is on anoter level, they never sounded the same without him

If Bruce had listened to the song in Di'anno's voice after this recording, I'm sure he would have wished he had never sung the song. Dickinson should never sing the songs from the first two albums. Many may be Dickinson fans, but Bruce's voice can be listened to next to Di'anno's voice;there is no side to it.

paul was great on the first 2 records but addiction was to much for him, bruce didnt have addiction issues but his holier then thou additude today is a bit annoying, that said bruce is still one of metals greatest ever

Been a Maiden fan since 82. And as much as I love Maiden's first two albums with Paul, I don't think Maiden would have become as big as they did if Bruce hadn't joined the band. Bruce's vocals took Maiden to another level.

I always loved - and will love - Paul's vocals. But. It is interesting how "familiar" and "original" this sounds. I am so thankful Maiden found Bruce, tbh.
