Arguably the best version. From the Clubbed To Death #2 12" on Mo' Wax. 1995.

Soda and Soap! This is very feel-good, but I'm not sure how Soda and Soap makes me feel. Its beat is good, but sounds more... emotional?
This sounds so good and is a great mix with Lickback Organisation - Music Of The Future. Dreamy stuff!

Oh, Wikipedia credits Jeff with 1st solo, Todd with 2nd.
Hard to tell but I would have guessed Jeff's solo was 2nd. he had that trebly sound in the early70's.
I’m thinking with CE here, seems like a good candidate for a Wiki fact check and correct!
Super ! Thanks for posting, Wajimacallit .

This is a great song. Was watching the Blues documentary Godfathers & Sons with Marshall Chess and the Electric Mud LP. So afterwards I followed it up on the tinternet and here I am. This man is truly an incredibly gifted guitarist.

So is this like an early version of Black Gold of the Sun?! because it sounds awesome!
keemyfoke yeah does sound a bit like black gold of the sun by rotary connection?
The New Rotary Connection (they changed name and added the 'New' in 71) track is a reworking of this, yes. And what a magnificent piece of work it is! Outstanding arrangement and composition.... Fuckin tootin!
