If you have cheats enabled you can just simply use “/tp @e @s” and use the “[type=item]” after the “@e” and you can even add “[r=100]” (radius= [blank]) before the “@s”

im tryna do the opposite of this, i have mods and the mobs shed scales so i need the despawn rate to me more often bc i have keep inventory or if not then ill have gravestones that keep your items in them when you die, anyone tryna help me 😂

But dude when I died my friend was there and when he was picking up items it disappeared and I lost really valuable items😔

I've been on my minecraft world since 1.8. I just died moving through the nether, I have no clue where I was. I was moving a bunch of valuables, including my one dragon egg. It's safe to say that I've fked up.

This is super cool and all but squeaky's loyer has something to say about being delt with "swiftly and easily"

I use OptiFine to turn down the loaded chunk radius down to 5 so that I can maximize the chance the time before my item despawn.

personally, i just installed a gravestones mod, saves your XP too makes it fair, and makes me not want to play with keepInventory on.

Hardcore nether survival would be cool and interesting, considering most Minecraft players do dangerous things because they know they can re-spawn.
