Japan is home to some of the best, most delicious, and timeless cuisines in the world. Unagi, or eel, is mostly eaten in Japan with reports that Japan consists of 70% of all eel consumed in the world.
We decided to check out one of the most famous areas in Japan for trying this elegant dish, Urawa. Located in Saitama, the city takes pride in its unique restaurants for serving Unagi and we had to try the decades-old Unagi restaurant, Nakamura-ya.

I love pineapple, but I hate it on pizza ! The problem for me is that ham and pineapple taste awful together (or pepperoni or whatever meat you want to add to it), but i'm pretty sure I would like it with fish or shrimp easily ^^

I discovered this restaurant back in 2016! I went back last year, I think 5 times during my summer vacation and the food was wonderful each time! I am going back in December for a couple of weeks so you know I will go back and warm up with the salt/shrimp ramen!
