Love the fact that you still have reverse on the beast! Too many people have either removed it or simply don't install it. Your tunes are always spot on and totally RIP even though it still has the reverse. Rock on man! ❤❤❤
I think these tires with the more straight across lugs actually have slightly less traction when turning. I have several sets of the proline masher 2000's tires on several different sizes of MT's (1/8th and 1/10) and they are just the same way as you describe these tires you have! Either way they work awesome when you are turning. I've also found if I lay the shocks down even just 1 notch, it really helps to stabilize the truck, especially when you are bouncing around a track at high speed. Let's you get away with slightly more aggressive driving techniques! ❤❤😊😊
Awesome run! That engine really pulls hard throughout the rpm range! Noticed you have a steering wheel for 1 handed driving, just wondering where you got it from and if it is still available?👍👍🤠❤️❤️
Them third gear wheelies though! Seems like this setup lets the engine pull harder all the way to max rpms, perhaps better than the slipper setup. Which the slipper setup might tend to slip a bit more and possibly earlier just due to the nature of it! Can't argue with this setup though, seems like a really strong part! 😊❤
Didn't seem like you had problems with the slipper clutch previously! How much difference is there between the clutch reaction time with this setup compared to the slipper clutch setup? I'm not that good a driver yet that I can do away with the slipper clutch on any of my trucks. Also very curious how it would work if a person were doing a lot of large jumps? I think I like the slipper setup on my trucks because I usually run larger tires and don't like having to change the gearing so much. So I like having a bit of slip still built into the driveline!❤
So it's not that I am having a lot of slipper issues but every now and then when it does slip (Usually in hotter months) it's a pain to stop. Get out the fuel and remove the top transmission plate to properly tighten and Locktite the screw. So I am really trying this to see if I can stop that altogether.
@rcbrooks3543 fair enough, I'm really interested in hearing more about it in the future what you think of how it works.
