As a rule of thumb , the moisture should be drained out of tank each time your done using it.
Watching this aftter purchasing the drill for 27 USD on Amazon. Not looking forward to the loose chuck but will try it for an odd job at home, might be worth it for the price. Thanks for a great review!
Hi what is the size of the screws The 17mm is M14x1.5 And the 24mm is ?
Any further progress to this beast?. Gday from across the pond in Aus.
What if the enner bowl has water inside the top
Great video mate.
Just fixed mine, thanks to this vid! Thank's for saving me £150 (fellow Kiwi in London)
Thanks for this video. I've got water in the inner bowl, how do I get it out please
Great Video. What if after 3 months this occurs again? I have been cleaning the bowl out every 3 months, because the bowl is getting dirty again Thank you
Fantastic video.
Thanks for watching and the comment, much appreciated 🙂
Great video, really useful steps. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for that much appreciated. Glad you found the video useful. Take care 🙂
This must be a terrible source of mould onto our clothes.
Yup it probably will be. Once you have cleaned the bowl, between washes just leave the lid up when not in use and that will keep the bowl dry and hopefully prevent mildew. Thanks for watching 🙂
Omg what a mission! I’m going to do this today
Hope the washing machine bowl clean went well, good job done!
Can someone do a crossland x 2017 model ??? 😫
The concept of the oil change will be the same as this model car, just look for a workshop manual that you can download online and should give you an idea on what needs to be done. Hope you can get the oil change sorted. Thanks for watching 🙂
Perfect video thank you! Will probably do me for doing odd jobs around the house as a single woman lol but if I was a work person, I think the chuck would do my head in long term lol Thanks for the video again!
Hey thanks for watching and appreciate the comment, yeah for the odd job the drill will be fine 🙂 or lookout for a good cordless drill instead.
Thank you for your video broo , really helpful thanks alot from bottom of my heart ❤❤😊
You're welcome, appreciate the comment and thanks for watching! Glad to hear you found the video helpful 🙂👍
What a great video! All the good info , easy to follow, thank you very much 😊
Hey appreciate the comment thanks for that, glad to hear you found the video helpful 🙂
I don't think I've ever changed mine. Looks like I'll be doing that this weekend. 😊
The filters collect up allot of dust so can be surprising what you may find. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment 🙂👍
Your pronunciation is spot-on. Bakelite is a thermosetting plastic, which means that once initially moulded, it cannot be heated again into a fluid plastic state. It this is attempted it will simply disintegrate. The more common thermoplastics are quite different from thermosetting plastics: they can be reheated and remoulded time and time again within limits.
Thanks for that, good to also know about the thermosetting and thermoplastics. I just recently purchased a Bakelite radio its a finish I quite like the look of. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment 🙂
Champion, thank you! All cleaned up
Thanks so much for watching and appreciate the comment 🙂
Where is part two where you clean it! I just bought one and don’t know how to go about cleaning it
I have been super busy and haven't done anymore on this bike due to been busy with a new baby in the family. But this bike has a smaller frame for me so I will be building for my wife now to use with a baby seat. Videos to come soon. Thanks for watching 👍🙂
@ awesome! Congrats on the baby! Look forward to seeing the video when it’s out🤝
Thanks. I'll keep looking, not buying this.
Yes I have many Bosch tools my self, but I was disappointed in this drill, the chuck was a major let down which was a shame. Thanks for watching 👍🙂
Thank you for such a great, perfectly paced tutorial! I watched several others before starting this job and yours was the best by far!!
Thanks very much for the comment appreciate that. They are good little cleaners and worth the repair. Thanks for watching take care 🙂
Great video. Thank you. Learnt so much.
Thanks for the comment, much appreciated hope you learnt enough to carry out similar repairs. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Thanks so much for this!! Just ordered the replacement hose after taking the old one out thanks to this video. I am confident I will be able to replace the new one thanks to you!! We have 4 dogs so this little machine has been in heavy rotation over the past decade and it will continue being useful for many more thanks to you!!
Hi there thanks for the comment. Yes we have 2 dogs here and the Bissell spot cleaner is definitely a must have, very handy for cleanups I wouldn't live without one. Yes the replacement hose fitting you should be fine just take your time with it sing out if you are stuck. Thanks for watching 🙂
Excellent! I bought my MW511 in 2005. Thought it might have just been getting old. The stuff I found in there! Coins staples, bobby pins... The hardest bit to clean was the rust accreted to the outer bowl. The only thing I couldn't work out is how to drain all the water out of the inner bowl. There seems to be water trapped in between the two stainless layers. Also, closing up tip. Make sure the back is firmly pushed down. And there's a rubber clip covering the earth wire. Make sure that is back in place. 10/10. Would do it again! (maybe sooner than 20 years...)
Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment. Yes its quite a surprise to see what you find in the bottom of the bowl there, good to get it all out and cleaned up that's for sure. Someone in the comments mentioned how to get the water out in the inner bowl so you can add that to the next clean schedule. Thanks for the tips re cover. Take care 🙂
@@MannixGarage I should also add that we now have lint free washes!
What a awesome video to come across on a wet Sunday morning .I realised how dirty and smelly it was but didnt realise how easy it would be to clean it all out I also found a rusty paper clip a dozen lollipop sticks a few hair ties 😂😂 . Cheers man
Thanks for taking time to comment and watching the video. Yes the machines can get quite dirty good you found those things when cleaning your machine quite a collection there hehe. Thanks again take care 👍🙂
We're is the plug to put gearbox Oli in a Tata 1,4 petrol
Hi there, I'm not sure on the Tata 1.4 L Petrol as I haven't changed the oil in this car, but a quick search on google for Tata 1.4 L Petrol showed some results including videos for different Tata models. Hope that helps thanks for watching 🙂
I was surprised to see how long you applied that demagnetizer. I used one on my H/K TD-202 about 10 or so years ago, (I believe it was the kind you insert like a cassette) and wound up killing one of the channels. It only played (and I believe recorded) one side. Ruined my aging but still quite usable deck. And, I didn't use the demagnetizer half as long as you did.
Hi there, sorry to hear about your tape deck that is a nice looking model. Yes just the pass like I did in the video is all you need with the wand type no problems there. The instructions say around 1 second for the head. You don't have to count 1 second for example just concentrate running through the pass at a similar speed like I did in the video is fine. As for your cassette deck I wonder if cleaning the head may have helped afterwards, especially after using a cassette demagnetizer perhaps that was dirty causing the issue? Thanks for watching 👍🙂
@@MannixGarage Sure, and thanks for the instruction. Since then I bought a Nakamichi CR-2A off eBay. Worked for the past 10 years, but recently had it repaired for dead-spotting, and now it won't play (play button gives no response, and it almost dead-spotted again last night. I think it's time for a "new" deck). I used to techno-lust after this model by NAD in the late 80s. Forget the model #, but it was in excess of US$800. Still close to $200 in some listings. Yikes. But, maybe now's the time to look at this model? Better late than never :) Unless you have a recommendation other than this model (for playback only) or for repairing my current deck -- something I'd rather not do, since I've already recently done this and the drive to and from this shop is a bit ridiculous.
@@keithyakouboff8755 Hi hopefully you find a good replacement deck. As for suggestions. I only like Hitachi since I grew up in the 80s and that's what my father had, so the models I have are budget models, although I do have an 80's 3 head Hitachi model as well but I have no idea where that stands in the scheme of quality for the time. I think you need to look for that NAD model from the 80's and take the plunge on that one, it is always nice to buy something you remember from back in the day. 🙂
@@MannixGarage heh... that is true
Such a great video! Me and my partner washed out our machine and it was disgusting! Never knew a machine could get that dirty. Thanks so much for the walk through video.
Hi thanks for the comment. Yes it is very surprising how dirty they get. I certainly was especially all the pet hair in my machine hehe. Thanks for watching take care 🙂👍
Hey buddy. I sent you a message via instagram. 👍👍😀
Hey Sorry about that I had no notifications on my phone but just checked. All good now 👍🙂
Great video! Waiting on a replacement drain pump to arrive so I went ahead and cleaned my 2007 GWL15 while it was out of service. I noticed that the inner drum seems to have some water/fluid sloshing around inside it that I haven't been able to find a way to drain out of there. Is there a way to disassemble the inner drum further to remove the water/fluid? Or does this water/fluid need to stay in there for dynamic balancing?
Hi there, thanks for watching appreciate the comment. Hope all goes well with the replacement pump fitting. Yes a viewer in the comments section commented on how to empty the remaining water/fluid from the inner drum. I think you had some screws to undo in order to empty, have a scroll through the comments and you will see what is needed there. Thanks again 🙂👍
My washing machine is 15 years old and I have never done this before. I was getting muddy bits on the washing and always on the white things. This was easy to follow and my how much fluff and dirt did I find. The only thing I did different was wipe down the inside of the outer bowl and that way not so much water to take out. Couldn't unscrew the pump cover but I think the rest of the cleaning should be sufficient. I was thinking the dirt came from the tank as the rinse is tank water. it was from then washing machine. So happy thank you.
Hi there, glad to hear you found the video useful and cleaned your machine successfully. They are good machines just need a clean every now and again and good as new. Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching, take care 🙂👍
Well done, excellent video. I will be fore-armed when I clean my daughter's machine!

I just ripped the chasis out of a 1949 pye.
Hi there. Great hopefully the PYE radio will be an interesting project 🙂 Thanks for watching
I bought it as "not working" so I never even checked the plug. But last night I cleaned dust off the tubes and checked the fuse. It works.. but I already have one I restored and I want the Google in this one. So I don't know what to do with the guts. I know the resistors and caps should be drilled out and stick new bits in the old caps. To avoid frying stuff. But it's all there in one piece. A shame to waste it. @@MannixGarage
Legend video - thanks, mate. I'm off to buy the bits and pieces from Bunnings and Konnect Fastening Systems tomorrow. Hopefully it all goes well!
No worries thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah you will be fine just take your time if you have trouble getting profile washers and sealing washers these are where I got mine, just search the store, www.trademe.co.nz/stores/JA-Building-Supplies-Ltd . Take care 👍🙂

After fitting the hose, suddenly the clean water tank is leaking at the seal. Can I ask how tight did you tighten the screws? I can't figure out what I'm doing differently but it didn't leak before and now it does
Hi there, sorry late reply here. Are you talking about the screws in the video at 7:13 holding the small pump motor or the cover at 7:28 ? Basically just do both sets of screws tight enough when the screw stops turning while doing the screw up with not much pressure and basically just nip the screw a little further with pressure, maybe 1/4 turn (hope that makes sense). If the clean water tank is leaking at the seal. Few things to check. -Make sure the little clamp for the black hose at about 6:31 in the video check you have put the hose clamp back on -Make sure the pump motor brackets are mounted squarely to the bottom mounts of the bissell unit when screwing back down. The black bit that the fresh water tank fits into could be on an angle and not mating properly with the tank.
Many thanks Mannix. Excellent content.
Thanks for watching, appreciate the comment take care 👍🙂
VERY THOROUGH VIDEO. I did my garage roof but I did lift it the iron and painted the underside and laps to prolong the life. I used the same rust converter. I didn’t find the galvanised profile washers in the store but I used the rubber washer seals usually used for clearlite roofing and painted over them to give extra life. They have worked quite well and will last for the life of the roof.
Hey thanks for the feedback, glad the video was useful for you. Good on you for getting the job done. I find that brand rust converter very good and paint seems to stick to it well after. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment take care 🙂

Hey mate, is there a lint filter you can remove and clean too? I can't seem to locate my one on model "MW513"
Hi there, thats a good question no there isn't unfortunately. You sometimes get a small amount of lint build up at the bottom of the inside of the agitator which i would pick out by hand. Thanks for watching take care 🙂
Hi. My inner bowl will not come out. Comes up little but that’s all. It’s like it’s catching on something on the spindle but I can’t tell what. Any hints? It’s a f&p washsmartm
Hi there, have a look through some of the comments as there are some various solutions from using vinegar to using hot water and they seemed to help people with a stuck bowl. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😊
Did you find a way to get your inner bowl out cause mines doing the same i cant get it out
Hi there did you try some of the suggestions in the comments. I didn't have that issue but others who have had difficulty removing the bowl have tried hot water and or vinegar. I would even try a squirt of wd40 on the shaft and let sit for 30 mins and try again. If it doesn't you can also try carefully taking the spline which is held in the inner bowl with 3 screws apart noting how it comes apart for reference, if you can pull that up once unscrewed and remove then pull the inner bowl out. Thanks for watching
