Back in my Chauffeur Days I had a customer that went to New, York for a business meeting. Dropped him at Heathrow 10.30 am and collected 10 25 pm the same day !!
When it landed in Las Vegas it came in over me & the stallion i was catching's😅 head. Very loud. Thank God the horse backed up before it went off it's front feet . Seemed as if it was landing on our heads.
One or maybe 2 Tragedies & Concorde is GONE . VANISHED. STUPIDITY GONE MAD . Best Aircraft ever Constructed & Way ahead of its ⏲️ time ⏲️ How many incidents has BOEING AIRCRAFT HAD .... Hundreds & still 🪰 Flying WHY ?
Exactly the same here. I was stood at the perimeter fence of Filton airfield in November 2003 to watch one of the last landings. I can still remember the huge sadness and sense of loss that I felt as if it were only yesterday.
My dad worked on concorde. Took me and my son to watch the trials. We all loved watching it fly over my parents house. They're gone and Concorde. Sad to say.😢😢
When I watched this, it reminded me of just how magnificent the Concorde was, and seeing her lift off the ground made me teary. A beautiful machine. Tu me manques, Mme. Concorde.
I knew a guy many yrs.ago that inherited a bunch of $ from a relative. He took a trip that had him ride both the Q.E.II AND the Concord. He said the flight was so amazing when it went from mach 1,to 2.He could feel the g-force decrease. Then jump as it went to mach 2.😮 I saw it take off one time from Bangor International Airport.I was 🤯😊
Concord would not seem great if you lived any where near the flight path and had to put up with a sonic boom everyday. Thats why it was grounded because it wasn't alowed to go supersonic over land.
£740.00 for a return ticket. Out BA Economy and back from NYC on the Concorde. Always remember it's THE Concorde not just Concorde. Twice a year BA offered this to staff. Foretuneately I knew one of the staff . He nor his wife nor his daughter could be bothered. What? So I went twice. They used to put a little gift under the seat. My partner still has and uses the Smythson address book.
Only got to see it flying one tine only. But did get to be at the engine demonstration at Farnborough. When they bolted a couple to a Vulcan. Not something you forget.
Lucky enough to have flown in it , we were warned to expect serious acceleration due to lack of weight and fuel , it was a short flight from Liverpool to Heathrow…… they weren’t kidding 😳
I was lucky enough back in the early 80s to watch British Airways an Air France takeoff from JFK Airport Panera parking lot I saw it happen multiple times allowed us thing I’ve ever heard
Setting up for the Indianapolis 500 in May of 1994, Roger Penske started a top secret engine program with Ilmor in England for the 500. As they worked through the winter of 1993, they would need a new design of a part from Ilmor. How do you get a part across the Atlantic faster than overnight? Simple, purchase it a seat on the Concorde, and they did a number of times. I got to see these engines run at Indy. They were in a class by themselves.

C'était vraiment un bel oiseau .. 😪
The Concorde rotated so insanely fast. Not a lot of margin for error there!
She should still fly.
4:04 Take off
Bring her back. Just like the vulcan
Spectacular ✨

They should have raf versions of this
concorde at luton??? wtf
My proud residence in Luton stems back 84 years, so out of respect for my city, please capitalise Concorde.
Couldn’t have anything like this today . Too much regulation, too much interference, too much complaining.
The take off speed 😮
The most beautiful airliner ever created. It should never have been taken out out of commercial service.
A beast of an airliner
Stunning simply stunning. This was when Luton Airport was a friendly place to visit, sadly no more they ripped the soul away.
I miss the loudness of Jet Engines. I remember as a kid in the early 00’s all planes being allot louder and nowadays they don’t have that same sound.
It all escaltes so quickly.. 1, 2 and she was gone, fast.
4:06 youre welcome
The thrill of the take off must have been spine tingling. Can only imagine.
iam a grown man and got tears in my eyes ... fantastic ❤

Ditto 😢😢
Me too. The sound of that aircraft with the TAKE NO SHIT engines sends chills up my spine.
Magnificent piece of engineering aircraft.

What my people achieved...brings tears to your eyes...what we have become, does the same.

Plane takes off at 4:11 .
The Americans and the Russians couldn’t do it but the Brits and French did. Concorde was a wonderful piece of engineering loved by all
The Americans killed it!

Decommissioning the concorde was a major step back in technology

Beautiful machine! Greetings from Brazil.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever..! It touched mumbai only once.. As kids we saw it real close..
