Can anybody explain, how floxed mice used to be generated before CRISPR? People usually say that Cre mouse and floxed mouse can be generated by CRISPR/Cas but Cre-loxP system is older than CRISPR.

It looks like in a translocation event the genetic element in question leaves one strand and moves to the other. Isn't there a version wherein the genetic element copies itself onto the other strand while remaining intact on the original strand?

Hi! The C-terminal domain does not conatin SH3 as you showed in your presentation, the SH3 refers to a specific type of protein-domain common in HIV. The C-terminal domain just folds similar to the SH3-Domain! Thanks for the nice video :)

Some of the music for the meme sections is too loud, especially in comparison with the volume used in the main education portions. I do like the concept of zooming into a portion of a drawing or diagram and cutting to the education portion. It's a neat idea. I currently am unable to understand what the chemicals and processes are due to my level of knowledge, but I think I can assume that you did a good job at explaining.

Your content is so good.. the effort you have taken is marv.. it helped a lot to understand!! Just please have a coffee and record from a place where you can talk loudly "to us" instead of to yourself. Really hard to listen to your breaking hoarse whispery voice even with a high quality headset. I'm sure your real voice is super nice! Please do more videos like this. Subscribing..
