This episode 8 is mainly focussing on Kumakonam, where four historical temples were made in 12th century. Aravat temple is dedicated to Aravat who was blessed by Lord Shiva.. Carvings on walls and pillars in these temple are magnificent and more precise than found anywhere else.

I too had illusion that Auroville is situated in Arvindo Ashram in Pondicherry.This Episode TN 6 has of late , corrected my understanding for better, that Auroville is in TN!! Though Auroville has lot of trees but mostly looking dry, possibly it may be time awaiting rain. Quite interesting that people from over hundred nations live in harmony!!! The birth of Auroville has been explained lucidly with facts and fiction. We are really indebted to our friend NKS and Sudha for entertaining us with each of the new Episodes such as TN 6 in hand.!!!

This Episode of TN day 5 , albeit very short in terms of events at Pondicherry, while travelling from Mamalpuram, has been made by dear NKS and Sudha extraordinarily eventful. I was overwhelmed to have had a quick virtual tour of this exclusive site,once a french territory , has a clear imprint quite noticable. Churches,Ganesha temples, famous beach , disciplined road senses, Arvindo Ashram, well decked up market for souvenirs, cakes ,pastries. Wonder if you have retained the contact number of your hotel , cake shop, so. That I could think of getting it couried to me!!I I am yet to visit Pondicherry, this Episode of TN day 5 has provided enough information to be able to plan a visit asap.

This episode on TN day 4, near Mahabalipuram is about visit to crocodile farm. We could learn abou how to distinguish amongst Gharial, Alegators, crocodile, turtles, lizards etc and as also how to identify female and male reptiles . A giant tortoise weighs around 225 kg , 852 ft.. how male and female crocodiles jointly help hatching eggs in very unique way. Hotel TN beach resort,private hotel was huge and uniquely located for enjoying sea side view right from each room for occupants. I could rarely find shiv or Vishnu temples during my various visits, lond stay in TN and Karnataka, albeit this Episode is quite a learning in this regard. We wish dear NKS and Sudha may bring more such Episodes exploring new locations for virtual enjoymen.

This Vardharaja tirumal temple of lord Vishnu and story /historical support woven around ,Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati, located in Kanchipuram , herein as per illustrations described in this TN episode 3. This temple is unique because of historical data and mythological beliefs supported by evidence. As we. Know this place is famous for sarees as much about temples. It's so well connected with Mamalpuram, or mahabalipuram that we have understood now through your narratives. We are very delighted having seen sea beach, four very famous temples and sarees shops, wherein we could know that weaving is integrated with each of it by and large. Thanks Dear NKS and Sudha for making us revisit Mahabalipuram and famous temples first time, hope , more such interesting TN Episodes 3, will keep entertaining us.

Tamil Nadu episode 2 is examplanary as the Vijaynagar king built Vellore fort, which is quite interesting, it's a welcome surprise that a famous temple is situated within fort campus. The Jalajaleshwar temple was built around 1550, devoted to Lord Shiva. Vellore is popularly known as City of temples.which I didn't know till I could see this Episode.
