Usually for bills you would spend 10-20$ per week if you were living off campus accomodation. In your case if you can find a place for less than 180 without bills that could be cheaper. In saying that please do consider the distance you will travel to university as well since that will add up if you’ve to travel far and spend loads getting to campus.

Hi Jaideep, that's amazing to hear you have secured an Internship at Western, Congratulations! Yes I do think you will have to take care of your own expenses and accomodation for the period unless you have a different arrangement with university. Accomodation you will have to sort out and I would recommend the university accomodation for your stay since it is very close to university and gives you access to a lot of people and the great community at western. Regarding expenses, rent would usually be between 200-300$ per week depending on the type of accomodation (shared / studio) and the area you live in as well. You may also have travel expenses, groceries and eating out costs as well. That may be another 100-200$ per week. Do reach out to the uni as well if anything is unclear because you can reach Western Success or the Student services centre. Depends on if the course is available at the university really. Researching the university and how uni life is prior to moving would be the best way to get information and decide. I’m sure the universities would have International students who you can contact personally which is really good, so definitely try to get more information regarding university life🔥
