Completed experiments with save file editing: -can't add Ralsei to party before Spamton fight -adding Kris to pre-Spamton party makes a 2nd Kris stand motionlessly in the fountain room for the duration of the battle (only visual effect, didn't discover any gamebreaking glitches or anything) -you can actually buy CD Bagels in save point room if you cheat enough money in -Frozen Heart actually contains all weapons/armors/spells available in original Deltarune (it's probably obvious, but just confirming) (Snowgrave targets your party and crashes the game tho) To-do list: -cheat in Pacify onto Susie before normal Noelle fight, and use it in battle (counts as sparing?) ---try to change the save location to one that isn't normally accessible in Frozen Heart (for example, Castle Town)-- ...and possibly more, but I'm out of ideas rn lmao EDIT: location editing seems to crash the game... :(

Today I finally decided to try out this game for myself (SPOILER ALERT) With just a bit of dodging/healing (I'm used to playing Deltarune on Switch, not PC) I managed to take the Thorn Ring and get the pacifist ending (and obtain the Egg) after that I immediately went for the kill/violent spare endings, took literally no effort lol next I tried to tackle the Thorn Ring death ending, but ended up getting the Iceshock and Snowgrave endings instead because, and I quote "STOP SPAMMING HEAL PRAYER YOU STUPID DEER-" (after that I realized that I have to spam Tension Absorb to prevent Noelle from healing, and completed the Thorn Ring ending "But can you win in as few turns as possible?" ...challenge accepted - the entire battle turned into spamming 2 acts and occassionally Ultimate Heal, and somehow I managed to win. I saved before the fountain just in case I had to fight someone... AND I FREAKING CALLED IT - SPAMTON NEO'S PHONE ATTACK LITERALLY DESTROYED ME (somehow managed to win on 2nd attempt, then reset and tried to make a deal with Spamton... it didnt work😭) after that I opened depression simulato- uhhh I mean Secret Route and used shield to beat Noelle easily, then cried for 30 mins straight on memory segment😭 after all of that I still need the most right-bottom achievement... any hint pls?🙏

I no one seriously going to talk about Noelle's parents, who have now lost both their children? Like Rudy will now likely lose all motivation to stay alive And what about her mother? She was already cold and all but i honestly can't imagine how she will be after realizing her last daughter disappeared to never be seen again

Its just the death of another fictional character Thats all she is The characters arent real The world isnt real And by playing a snowgrave route youve proven how true that is to you You devalued this world and the lives of the characters within it You could go back at any time You could save noelle, you could just not get this ending But why would you do that when youve already come this far? After all, you have to know what happens. Youre only doing all this because you HAVE to know, isnt that right? The way you get this ending even represents that Youre playong through as fast as possible in as few turns as possible, because its just a game, why draw it out when we can complete it and move on to the next? You all feel sad that noelle died but not one of you feels guilty, because you know that you have to keep going After all, its just a game Its not like you actually ruined a life Why would you turn back now after youve already gone this far?

This song really just feels unfair None of this was noelles fault, she didn't have to die She died because of us, the player We played the snowgrave route, we knew the path we were going down, yet we expect a happy ending I honestly wasn't shocked that Noelle died All of this was our fault and we made other people hurt through our actions but we still act surprised and feel remorseful when it actually affects us This song doesn't invoke remorse, it invokes guilt I find it specifically interesting on Kris' section Noelle asks him about his pranks (something he did before we controlled him) and the attack is music notes accompanied by a piano melody, playing the piano is something kris loved to do before we controlled them But noelles next question is why he did the things he did, why he did a snowgrave route Kris didn't, we did And the attack that follow reflects that, Kris' attacks in an actual battle The attacks and actions he does when we command him to do so I think I finally figured something out The theme of deltarune isn't that your choices don't matter It's that the characters choices don't matter No matter what any of the characters do, it's what you choose that determines the outcome of the world I'd also like to quickly note the rest of the memories, specifically the music Spamton adds a jazzy main melody that takes the forefront, showing his importance in this role and sounding relatively normal compared to most of spamtons music, showing the spamton that was there before he went down the same path of trying to break free from the games control Kris adds a soft piano, again, showing kriss before we interfered with the world Berdly adds some strings that boost the effect of the main theme, showing that he always truly believes himself as inferior to Noelle, knowing that it was only because of her that he could be smart Rudy adds a soft synth playing don't forget, a fitting theme as Rudy is passing and doesn't want Noelle to forget the good memories, and now that Noelle is also dying those memories are something she cherishes, both good and bad Susie adds a hard synth that overshadows the original melody, showing how Susie is oblivious to Noelle liking her The melody is of Susie's own theme which adds even more to this idea It doesn't fit in well and feels offkey at times as well, perhaps if Noelle had a little more time, the melodies could fit together a bit better And lastly, dess adds a violin, an inherently sad sounding instrument, normally used for farewell songs, as everything slowly fades out alongside Noelle This song is perfect, although probably not as deep as I thought But it still makes me feel guilty, knowing that noelles death was the players fault, and that she didnt deserve it

Fun fact: the animation at the beginning is made in engine. You can access it by passing "--mod trailer" on the command line! Pretty sure this is the only command line that does anything you can't already do Technically "--mod example" is unused but it's pretty much useless. Unless you really like the default Kristal mod, I guess.

This is an absolute masterpiece! I both love and hate the fact that we are saving Noelle (even with that “as fast as possible” challenge) just to face that heartbreaking ending. Thank you so much for that game, I might love it more than actual deltarune. Music is on the different level, tho. This soundtrack alone made me cry for two times already, but I just can’t stop listening. You guys really did a great job!

Honestly can't believe im crying at a fight that starts with the kinda goofy creepypasta premise of Noelle turning evil from power. The music is the main cause of it but the entire ending sequence is just beautiful. Just imagining the aftermath of this but Kris and Susie are genuinely so fucked. Noelle is dead, Berdly fell down. They're the only two that saw them. The prophecy is absolutely demolished at this point, especially if Noelle-Angel is correct.

I thought that Noelle was gonna come back alive and well. I DIDNT EXPECT HER TO ACTUALLY DIE! BUT DANG I LOVE THAT THEY HAD THE GUTS TO DO THAT! FOR THE CANON ENDING OF THIS AU! THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB! This was an excellent fangame and it was absolutely worth the wait.
