Luisa and me are very similar I feel like. We both carry the burden of our families, we both are older siblings, we both don’t want anything to happen to the ones we love, and we feel like we have to be strong otherwise we are worthless. I grew up with praise from my family, but once they realized that I wasn’t going to do what they wanted and I’d rather paint and read than do math and science, they kinda stopped caring. They’ve just dumped their burdens onto me. I want to carry them and be strong, but it’s hard to be that when the people your doing it for don’t really care and appreciate you. Sorry about this vent

Yooo real talk this has to be my most favorite display heroes ever the power of family untie is very powerful. We all have bad days at time but family can do anything together bad times and good times. Also I can so relate to her being the oldest sibling of the family do feel like you have the wate of the world on ya shaders at times.

As the oldest sibling, this song hit me really hard. I've always felt like I had to be the strongest for my family. I had to keep the cool head and know exactly what to do in every situation. If there was a family argument, I had to settle it. I had to be the strong one when my dad passed so everyone could cry. I had grow up faster because I had to help my family. But deep down I was a mess. I was always scared of making a mistake and letting everyone down.

I'm the oldest sister, was the second parent, and with all of those responsibilities it takes a toll. Also I was living in survival mode and not showing how hard it was. But this song hits home and had me crying so much because it explains the pressure of being the oldest.
