Watching DEAD SILENCE for the First Time | Reaction and Commentary
That scared everyone in the movie theater back in the 70's 😊😊😊
What happened to this channel? I wonder why he just gave up making videos
i love this movie
Sarah Michelle Gellar was suppose to be in the movie for a longer amount of time but some of her scenes were cut because people behind the making of the movie (I forgot if it wes craven was one of the people and which cast members if any were included in the group of people) allegedly said she was essentially an uptight person to work with. The reason that people popularly believe she couldn’t be in the movie longer then she was, was because she was busy filming other stuff at the time and because Wes craven found her to be high maintenance. One of the people behind the movie was Harvey Weinstein and the making of scream 2 writing wise was very messy so she likely probably did mentally check out not too late into the production of scream 2 as well
As many times I’ve searched up scream receptions RUclips never showed me yours but today showed me a short of you reacting to it, glad I found your reaction. RUclips did you dirty
I dropped my phone F.😂
😂
I've seen mixed reviews for this movie. I can see both sides, but it was a fun watch imo
This movie messed me up the first time I saw it!
"Does anyone still use that as a ring tone?" Dude, Crazy Frog's old enough now for people to be nostalgic for it. *EDIT:* I feel like there's an allegory here, but it's probably not much more complicated than "Kids do be stupid, tho."
Scream is my favorite horror movie
Same here 😂
19:17 "keep looking for ghost children and help them get vengeance." UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM 😅😅😅
You should check out The Descent
I never knew the nature of FNaF's lore until now. I. . .don't like it. I get the impression this franchise has long passed its midi-chlorian moment.
This is a fraction of the lore. Trust me, this is just the beginning. It gets MUCH deeper. Wait for the sequel.
Omggg haven’t seen you in a min
I love your reaction
Scream 4 was a better sequel than Scream 3
nice bro
Thanks
15:19 The easter egg you the Saw puppet because this is the same creator of SAW.
What happened to this channel? Why did he quit?
Don't worry i just shot a new video. Scream 4 should be up tomorrow
LOL...Dude stop over analysing everything. It's a horror movie. Some things aren't meant to make sense. If they did, you wouldn't have everyone dying and there'd be no movie. LOL. There is some horror that is just for fun and then there are others that have serious topics. Ventriloquist dolls aren't to be taken seriously. 😆
Even horror movies need to make sense.
Such an amazing movie man also love your channel brotha 💪🏾💯
Appreciate it!!
Scream is one of my favorite movies 🍿 and good reaction
Good reaction
The "coin" is a St. Joseph's medal that was found in the dig and Merrin commented "not the same period". It's a Catholic religion piece/symbol and yet buried with old civilization relics in Iraq, no less. Total mystery. It's seen again in Father Karras' dream and it's falling, in slow motion until it lands on steps (a premonition of his own death). If you look super close to the slow motion of the falling chain and medal, you can make out the pattern on the rug in Regan's bedroom, matching up when she rips it off his neck in their battle. The medal is not evil and I don't get how people now, assume that. In the original theatrical release version, Chris hands the medal to Father Dyer as she feels that he would want it since both he and Karras were close friends. In the 2000 re-release "The Version You Never Saw", Father Dyer hands it back to Chris and tells her to keep it. I liked the original theatrical cut of this film. All the exrraa added for the 2000 release were unnecessary and just pandering to a more modern, shortened attention span and slower audience as they needed all the character and plot exposition and CGI touches possible to dare watch an old film. We, who saw it in the 1979's, didn't need the gimmicky assistance. We got our movies back then and any ambiguities, made our brains create a more richer movie watching experience 😂👍
bro that body drop had some comedy in the scream behind it
Burning it wouldn’t do any thing it just showed back up un burned u need to burry it or give it to someone else but it’s better not to play with I love your reaction and newly subscribed to your channel and I hope everyone has a great day or night
Why what why’s she becoming possessed she was playing with the ouija board she was talking drawing in the demon PAZUZU he was telling Regan he was CAPTAIN HOWDI, he isn’t it’s PAZUZU.
🎥 Back in those days cigarettes were a casual thing, especially for gatherings. ☺️I was watching some of the classic game shows from the 60’s and their prize was a carton of cigarette! ☝🏽 All the Celeb’s would smoke during the game show. Once they realized the hazards people slowly stopped. ♥️ I was little when I saw this. People were fainting, throwing up, crying & horrified watching this movie. ♥️ Watching it with so many breaks, I feel it’s hard to really tap into the true horror of this movie…even tho it was the 70’s 😍 Don’t get me wrong, I like the breaks, even tho yours have more than some. It’s still creepy! 👍🏽Enjoyed your reaction video! Take care & keep It Lovely! 💋
Why are you millenials so preoccupied with cigarettes in o”d movies ?
wow, you guys are so fake .. Europeans not buying it .. #Ubiased
Nitroglycerin tablets are/were used for chest pains. Cracks me up that all of you 'younger' people don't get that. Used to be quite common--especially in movies. Great movie and reaction!
Well Mobius Alien abduction is real but its the out of control black projects. RIGHT NOW Congress is beginning hearings with Blackops whistleblowers. WATCH DR. GREER Discovery project and Groundbreaking . They are like 3 hours long here on youtube and free. . You need to write your senators and congresssman and tell them you support Congress doing the FULL investigation. You should have seen it when it came out in '73. Its based on true story but victim was boy but the Vatican has sealed the record. There were protestors out side with signs. The movie was banned in many towns. People were getting up, screaming and running out. When I was there one guy got up vomited right in the isle.
If I HAD watched this as a child, I probably would have become a priest as my mother wanted.
They don’t let people down there because they usually don't come back people get lost and die because it's so big
Geez... I'm 20 minutes into the video and you can't shut up about a certain topic. Now... I've smoked for years and quit somewhere around the start of the initial pandemic lockdown... But if you mention the people in the movie smoking one more time... I am going to smoke an entire pack in one day. Just for you. You are watching THE movie. The source of countless tropes, the origin of a genre, the script that has been copied with minor alterations for a specific message to come into focus over and over again... And you fixate on a minor detail like the mere fact that they are smoking. How about noting when they smoke and what the significance of them smoking at that point is? It's not like the actors were simply smokers and the director just allowed them to smoke when they felt like it and kept the takes where they did. Edit: You have aboslutely zero medical knowledge, huh? The man is almost 80 and clutching his chest all the time right before taking one of the small white pills. It's a vasodilator(Something to widen his blood vessels, if you don't understand medicaleese). Most probably nitroglycerin. Taken to make things easier for a weak heart.
I recommend... Evil Dead II (R) (1987) (A Fun Horror/Comedy). Also... The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (R) (1974) ‧ (Horror/Thriller) Natural Born Killers (R) (1994) (Crime/Drama) The Devil's Rejects (R) (2005) (Horror/Thriller)
THIS movie tripped me out, when I SAW THE ORIGINAL theatrical release back in '74. I was in boot camp when it was released, so heard nothing about it. A friend took me to see it later that summer & I WENT IN COMPLETELY BLIND. LOOK UP A BEHIND THE SCENES DOCUMENTARY ON IT....OR REACTIONS WHEN THE FIRST AUDIANCES SAW IT.
WHY SHOW A MOVIE WITH A SEE THRU PICTURE IT'S HARD ENOUGH TO SEE
Underrated classic
The book explains unanswered questions.
I must say, you are the least reactive reactor I've ever seen. This was your face throughout: 😐
This one is my favorite though 😔
Hey that's totally cool though 😎. Nothing anyone ever says should stop you from liking or disliking a movie. I like some objectively bad movies like the second Mortal Kombat movie.
The voice changer was the dumbest aspect of this movie. Without it I definitely would have thought it was a better movie.
One of the doctors in the hospital attending to Regan was later found to be a serial killer in real life.
Thats crazy!
While I love the backstory and the comedy of Scream 3, I agree that it is very weak in the horror aspect. It was heavily affected by the Columbine shooting and the intense backlash of violence in media at the time. Another downfall for this film is the fact that Kevin Williamson, the person who wrote and created Scream was busy with other projects and couldn't write out a full script for it. So he wrote an outline for his vision but the Weinsteins hired a writer who threw nearly all his plans out the window. Many people hate this one, and I get why, but I think you'll enjoy the rest of the franchise. The original concept was great and was later expanded upon and included in Kevin's 2013 series The Following. I'm not entirely sure of the inspiration for the mansion, but I know that the Playboy mansion and Erroll Flynn's mansion had similar peepholes, hidden viewing areas, and secret rooms. So creepy.
You shouldn't have watch this movie this is one of the most evil movies ever made I remember when it first came out I saw it and I promised myself I would never ever watch this evil evil movie again
19:40 Gotta keep your pimp hand strong ruclips.net/video/LSVHpX1CDN8/видео.html
The pill that the priest was taking in the bathroom was Nitroglycerin. People with a heart condition used to carry them around and stick one under their tongue if they were having heart pains. Not sure if they are still a regularly prescribed thing or not.
The problem with a movie from the 70s is that EVERY possession movie since then, took from The Exorcist.
Most reactions of Scream are "ruined" by people who have seen Scary Movie. They "guess" there's two killers and the dead give away they have seen Scary movie is when they have hunch Dewey's the killer. Sometimes I prefer reactions from people who have seen the movie and point out interesting details. Most annoyingly guess every character is the killer then triumphantly claim at the end they were right!
