My hubby and i spent a week here , last week and back in 2013 when we was treated for cancer at MD Anderson. our doc is a t the sugarland MD Anderson. Pros of the city: They have great hospitals at medical city downtown the best in the country. Sugarland also has mini versions of the hospitals so any medical emergency or treatment its right here. Now CONS; the place is literally crawling with people.. too many people.. the traffic is a nightmare. and you have to goaround and around in circles just to go across the street.. Its ridiculous.. also its hot hot hot.. we went in June and i literally thought id die.. so humid and hot.. almost intolerable.. Our hotel the marriott was lovely but crazy expensive. $27 bucks a day for valet parking. and tipping in and out all day long. Insane. The panera bread nearby was picked over by 10 am. the whole foods was like vultures attacked it. coming from oklahoma this was so shocking. our town, Norman has 150K and sugarland has like 89 but it seems like sugarland has alot more people its very crowded.. im emphasizing that... We are hoping we dont have to move here but if we do im afraid we wont be able to find an acreage like we have now. I dont want to do HOA and il bet every house in sugarland has hoa.. ugh... anyway.. thats my first impression... from an okie to texas...

I used to live right across the road from Towne Lake (Barker Cypress) before it was built. The neighborhood is called Canyon Lake Village. It is a small and older section of Stone Gate, and it is actually apart of Houston (77095).

I'm Arthur Bhutic. Rice Village can be raised above grade level on stilts. Then, people need to walk to go where they choose to go, just like in the mall. On grade level be parking. Too, underground parking. Morningside be concrete with a center lane. Rice and University Boulevards be concrete boulevards without crossovers. Kirby Drive becomes a concrete 4 lane express road with concrete feeder roads. Rice and University at Kirby, depress below grade level. Kirby Feeder Rds at Rice and University, depress below grade level. Kirby becomes a spur highway. On sides of Kirby, be sidewalk bridges above Below Grade Level Rice and Below Grade Level University. Too, be pedestrian tunnels under Morningside, Rice, University, and Kirby. I've attended a school where I lived in South Huntsville, Alabama in 1987 and 1988 that got a ped tunnel. That is Whitesburg Middle School. The tunnel is under Whitesburg Drive on front of Whitesburg. While be motor vehicle control safety chips in the pavement of parking lots and this rds. Then vehicles have motor vehicle control safety sensors. By this, this vehicles on rds with motor vehicle control safety chips, driving isn't manual anymore. It's automatic. Then, accidents plummet by drunks and texters. Driver's license unneeded. Too, be computer chips in the pavement of parking lots and this rds. By that be vehicles with joysticks, just like the airplane. By that, driving will be automated. Drunks and texters can't do accidents anymore. Driver's license becomes defunct. While be on the sides of this rds a small lane being separated for gas/electric bikes and Tiny Jeepney Jeepitos. Seems like every time I watch a video about moving to Cypress the only thing people show off is Town Lake which looks like very few options for food and entertainment. Besides TL and the Outlet is there anything else this area has to offer?

Bridgeland and townelake aren’t cypress, it’s in the Cy-fair district, but that’s not the cypress neighborhood, it takes me 15-20 minutes to get to these neighborhoods from my neighborhood, but I would absolutely recommend moving here if you’re starting a family, everything is within a 10-15 minute drive, and the schools are some of the top in the state of Texas, I grew up here and I can confirm it’s a great area to grow up in
