Gouging Fire ex recently top 8'd a regionals and it surprised me! Using a ton of switch cards, Magma Basin and some really cool attackers such as Delphox V and Entei V!
The deck is a blast to play, and really should be a consideration for the future.

THIS DECK KEEPS MAKING TOP 8! | Gardevoir ex Guide
In the game 2 you could have won just by benching the moltres, magma for gouging fire and manual attach, retreat and heat blast for 70 dmg
True! Sometimes it's hard for me to see Moltres as an attacker rather than a static ability. I have that same issue with Zapdos in Miraidon. Thanks for the heads up!
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon I was refering to moltres ability to boost Gouging Fire heat blast from 60 to 70 dmg. But you made it work either way!
Oh shoot! Yup! Sorry read your message wrong. Yeah, I really need to track the Moltres damage boost better.
You are so good at explaining as you are playing with your calm demeanor and voice!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that.
Man I wish curry was still legal...
I love the explanation in your games. I am relatively experienced with pokemon but having someone explain how to pilot the deck and analyzing the choices really helps me understand what threats to look out for. I built a paper hydrapple but have been struggling a bit so this video gives me some new light in how to tweak and adjust for these meta decks. Thanks for the awesome video!
Glad that I was able to help! My goal is to try to make my choices clear. I've decided that I'd try to talk stuff out a bit more.

I play snorlax, and I need help, where I play there are a lot of lua bang and ancient box, and they use pechanut ex, it's impossible to win, I've already tried using mist energy on mimikyu, but if he puts baby leo on the table and pechanut doesn't have the What to do, would you know of a deck to play around this? Thank you very much, hugs from Brazil
Let me talk to my snorlax player friends and see what I can do to get you help!
Great video! Just started playing a few days ago and this is very helpful in getting me clued in on what's good from the latest set :)
Glad it could help! I have one really big error in this video Fezandipiti ex is the best card in the set haha.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon it is a fabulous card!
LOL at the first concede. Thanks for the vid
I Freacking love Future Paradox Pokemon Once i learned about this box i knew i needed to use it
Paradox Pokémon are SO cool. Some of my favorite designs. Hope you enjoy the deck!
I love Charizard EX decks and this is one of the best. Thanks for the info and the good ideas.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the awesome feedback!
How do you get the dialga vstar bundle
I can check later for you today, but I believe it should be in the in game shop! Just look through some of the previous stuff in the store on the Live Client! It should be where you buy packs.
Finally a creator who zooms in on the wording of the card I’m subbing
Appreciate it!
Thanks 👍
Not a problem! Hope you enjoy it!
Wait so can you still play with gengar v and v max?
Yup! As long as it has the F stamp, we're good for a bit longer.
I just started playing TCG Live, thanks for the videos looking forward to more! Like your down to earth style bro, keep it up!

@@Voiddyn-PokemonThanks 🎉
This is my favorite dragon pokemon and my favorite deck to play.
I absolutely love this deck. I was supposed to play like 3 games for footage with it and I ended up playing it for like 3 hours. Oops!
Nice one! I think a really good shout is the experience share tool and Pidgoet Ex is a MASSIVE help for Greninja to set up just right!
I'll be honest, I was a hater for a long while on the EXP share. I enjoyed the Pidgeot, but dang I never knew how good it was until I played it! Glad you enjoy it!
I can never get this deck to work for some reason. Idk. I see people do well with it and it just leaves me scratching my head lol
I totally get it. The deck is so weird to get going, you have to be very loose with the gameplan.
Couldn't find "earth blast" or "origin roar" on those cards.
This was back when we had the direct translation on the cards before they were printed. They've been localized now. As long as you find the new printings of the cards it should be all set! 👍
THE MAIN ONE IS ROARING MOON!!!!!!!!
Yup!
I am playing on TCG Live and building this in real life. When I get well, I am going to locals and give it a go. I am still fairly new. I struggle with not putting all my eggs in 1 basket. Any advice for this pokemon dad?
Yup! My advice would be to setup 2 Metangs and 2 Dialga VStars, if you go all in on one it’s OK but start prepping the second one. If a rival EX’s HP is too high to one shot, it’s ok to get it to the point of two-shotting.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon when I have a Charizard, it is hard to play when they get set up.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemonwould you run 2 70 Beldum and 2 60 Beldum. I currently have 3 60s but found a 70 in a booster pack.
Playing ancient box today! Yay
Dont forget giratina vstar only 2 energy 280
I’ll just replace cleffa with squawk to prevent bricks and penny to hisuaian heavy ball
Smart! I was thinking about Squawk too in the list.
If u want higher iq play, u change koraidon with walking wake, and ur only attacker is roaring moon
You need a koraidon in there to use the 2nd attack vs Mimikyu
Not really, you can use mew ex to copy walls like mimikyu or cornerstone mask. You don’t want to put in a basic dragon if you don’t have to because you really don’t want to start with it.
Smart! It’s definitely a good add.
@@takeovereagle3937 the problem with mew ex is that is also a 3 energy atacker and if mimikyu has mist you get to do 0 dmg to it and insta loose to the MU, I guess you have to commit some resources since the list is already so tight
Well most decks don’t play mimikyu AND mist in the same deck, and if they do then that’s just a loss you have take. And powering mew ex up is fine because you power it up the same you would a drago(energy switch). You shouldn’t be playing koraidon for specifically mimikyu mist energy. I think you have to accept that you can’t win against every possible strategy because if you start teching in too many 1 of’s then the whole deck falls apart to low consistency.
@@takeovereagle3937control is manly the one playing the mimi mist combo, you also happen to not be able to hit Earth mask if you don’t run koraidon. So basically you have auto loss into 2 MU now, earth mask being run by a lot of decks, so I guess yes you can have a 3% more chance to start from koraidon or you can have a get out of jail card in your discard pile! Pick your poison
This reminds me a bit of Mewtwo & Mew tag team and I LOVED that deck it got me 399 points from august to march on 2019 for my qualification to worlds in London... BUT pandemic :(
I loved Mewtwo and Mew Tag Team. It was HYPE in the format when my buds played it.
My Dipplin deck got bodied by this yesterday 😭
I feel so bad for Dipplin 😭
I’d rather just play Snorlax stall with flute, and not worry about all these battle decisions
I LOVE Snorlax stall. Control decks in the format are actually super fun. I'd release a video on control, but I feel like it's a bit involved. I'd need to script it way more. Maybe it'll go on the pile for an upcoming video.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon it’s my favorite deck It’s so interesting and complex to play but with little interaction, I find it refreshing vs the other archetypes. Ofcourse people at locals hate when I go 4-0 😂
I have been trying arceus v to accelerate the dialga... not good yet
Yeah Arceus VSTAR is super rough for that type of acceleration, since it takes a full turn to attack it’s very slow comparatively.
Thanks I just bought the deck a bit ago and it’s being shipped now and now I’m excited to play it!
Hope you enjoy it! The deck is a lot of fun!
I'm leaning towards the lost zone build personally
I’m SUPER excited to play it on live actually.
My test group played over 100 test games this passed weekend and this Xatu list with rotom is NOT that good. It’s slow and hits for only 200 after you get through the slow set up . It auto loses to blissey ex (which IS a real deck), c pao, miradon and Lugia I actually still think charizard will be best in the meta STILL after this set comes out. It also has issues getting through gardevoir once they have munkidori going.
What changes do you think zard decks will make?
Yeah I’ve play tested a bit, had a 45% win rate into Lugia. I think the deck is good, but might be a bit rough to setup.
Bro the "Dreppy" is hilarious. Did you know it's normally a combination of "Dragon" and "Creepy"?
You know, I actually didn’t. 😅 thanks for the heads up!
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon of course man! It's way more fun to say this way!!! Good luck with the new decks
Dragzard, trust me
I think Dragzard will be a good deck, but my friends in the sphere already made videos on it so I made something a bit different.
All i need is the Dragapult line, the unfair stamp, and radiant alakazam. might consider playing other ace spec alternatives to stamp like counter catcher to gust or maximum belt for extra damage on oppsing ex. Deck looks solid. I wiil eventually just drop my charizard deck for this.
I think a lot of the ace specs are definitely interchangeable tbh! I'm excited to see most of them switched out.
@Voiddyn-Pokemon there is much versatility with ace specs, they can quickly change the game in your favor if played accordingly. I'm glad they brought them back. Just wish prices weren't so jacked up for the good ones which is why I might go for the maximum belt. I shall test it once it comes out for ptcgl and then make a decision on which one to add to my physical deck.
Max belt is a huuuge sleeper pick for Dragapult, but I suck at deck building so I guess I’ll stick with Scoop-up Cyclone 🫠
@@enhidri160 I think Max Belt could definitely work!
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon It makes Pao, Bolt, Miraidon ex, ogerpon ex, etc a OHKO while also spreading damage. It’ll be super efficient
I really wanted to play this deck cuz dragapult is one of my fav pokemon but I have to say im more directed to raging bolt ex since its a big basic that hits hard and I love those type of decks
I'm super excited for Raging bolt personally!
Solid vid. Interested in trying pidgeot build as well as Regidrago vstar build.
Both look fantastic! I know my buds are playing them as well and making videos on them too, so I figured I'd try something a bit different! If the Regidrago build pops off I'll make a video on it soon.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon I've been cooking the Regidrago build for a little over the week and it's been a ton of fun in practice!
which products to buy to build this?
I would suggest buying cards directly from sites like TCGPlayer, CoolStuffInc and Kayfabecards. Buying product is never really an affordable way to build decks. Also, the new list for Charizard will look something like this, this video is for the old rotation 👍 Pokémon: 19 3 Charmander PAF 7 1 Charmander OBF 26 1 Charmeleon PAF 8 3 Charizard ex PAF 54 2 Pidgey MEW 16 2 Pidgeot ex OBF 164 1 Bidoof CRZ 111 1 Bibarel BRS 121 1 Radiant Charizard CRZ 20 1 Rotom V CRZ 45 1 Lumineon V BRS 40 1 Cleffa OBF 80 1 Manaphy BRS 41 Trainer: 35 3 Arven OBF 186 3 Iono PAF 80 2 Boss's Orders PAL 172 2 Professor Turo's Scenario PAR 171 1 Roxanne ASR 150 4 Rare Candy PAF 89 4 Ultra Ball PAF 91 4 Buddy-Buddy Poffin TEF 144 2 Super Rod PAL 188 1 Nest Ball PAF 84 1 Prime Catcher TEF 157 1 Counter Catcher PAR 160 1 Lost Vacuum CRZ 135 1 Pal Pad SVI 182 1 Forest Seal Stone SIT 156 1 Technical Machine: Devolution PAR 177 1 Defiance Band SVI 169 1 Vitality Band SVI 197 1 Collapsed Stadium BRS 137 Energy: 6 6 Fire Energy 2
