Would LOVEEEEE an actual Barbie competitor from MGA. Dream Ella was supposed to but ended up more like a Color Reveal alternative...the ANTM dolls are so underrated, I always forget about them! There was a winter or shopping wave that was scrapped, would've loved them as well😔

I'm not sure why they released this one compared to the more popular lines. I never liked the faces of Slumber Party so I never bought them as a kid. I can appreciate the quality but they just were never a line that I went crazy for. I loved the ICandyz girls and Princess line which I was never able to get.

About the baby hairs... I think Mattel and even MGA, has started to do the baby hair thing to indicate that a Character is a person of color. I could be wrong... But ... Maybe? That might be it?

The sculpt is fantastic. It does seem to me that the Cookbook doll has slightly smaller eyes.

I kinda fell for a few of these, the mermaid like you said, and am surprisingly having fun mixing and matching them. It was a great shock to see them BALD when I tried switching the hats tho TAT so sad to hear about the colorism issues with the brand tho, ew

I loved her so much that i think that MGA should release a Sasha,a Felicia or a Nevra doll in all the repros that did not had a black doll. With her is like that collection is complete

I bought at least three Mattel Tooth Fairy dolls. I never knew about the poly. But this doll has poly I have read. They are over $30. I was going to give one to my granddaughter but she stores then in a clear plastic bin all the dolls on top of another. No way would I give her that. It is a shame, the Fairy is gorgeous, gently articulated, looking more like a Poppy Parker doll body. Beautiful detailing of neck and joints are not ugly. But she is much more delicate. Mostly she is out of the box on her stand. I just change clothes. So it’s ok for me. But still pissed they charged so much for poly.
