How to Pronounce All of the Most Difficult Sounds in French (R, U, EU, L, LL, nasal sounds)
Those countries have a population that is less than one-sixth of the US. I'm not defending anyone or anything here. But the more people you have, the more things get complicated.
French is a pouty language. Make a pouty face, purse your lips, make like you are blowing a kiss would all be appropriate to forming many of the “front” French vowel sounds.
What do they do to you if you name a dog, but you don't use the "right" letter for the year?
😂
not "you miss me", "you are missing from me!" or "you are lacking from me"
I'm from the US but I'd prefer the French checkout if it means I don't have to make that dumb ass small talk, or interact with anyone. The first interaction would be a nightmare, in my opinion. Also, lol the amount of ppl saying "I like to talk and smile and make the cashier's day!" You arent. They do this with 100000 customers a day and are exausted, you aren't doing anyone favors with your chit chat. Slow your roll, hero 🙄
Have u thought of Mexicos president AMLO? He was in campaign for 3... ELECTIONS. Which means he lost 2 so he spent around 12 years trying to be president until there was no other option but him
If you choose to leave work to have a baby why is it the responsibility of your boss to pay for that life choice? What if your boss decides to shut the company down for a month and not pay you?
France will be insolvent without the change
I dont know why it's so important to us
😂😂😂 meanwhile in Sweden: I have to work til 70y to have a some kind of retirement 😅😅😅😅
Russian here. We just don't have election😂
The problem is not that we have people willing to work over the retirement age in the US. The problem is that the majority of Americans must work past the retirement age thanks to Republican policies. Instead of addressing this directly and consistently, you pandered to populism with an anti-Biden video, essentially helping the Republicans hide the consequences of their bad policies.
It’s because the US presidents is the best president money can buy
You know, I give grace to people in other countries because I understand that their government isn't the same as the people themselves. I'm starting to see that some people, in my fellow western countries, can not comprehend doing this for Americans. We are human, we know what's happening over here. In fact, it's depressing and horrific for many of us. This isn't some cute game we like to play.
Don't forget about the part where you get verbally assaulted for not having exact change in France.
Justin is in the next flight to Paris.
I'm french and been living in north america since 18 years now and even if I like it for a lot of things this is a terrible country for healthcare and human rights.
A great way that I've come to terms with these stupid measurements is as you days, kilos and litres are simpler measurements to understand and package and therefore are greater on a larger scale whereas with personal things such as height and weight, its better in stone, pounds and feet as the less of an ease reading it gives an aura of privacy. And if you cant tell, I pulled this answer right out my arse. I dont know why we're screwed like this
Un croque madame et des rillettes ? Vous avez un bon appétit :D
Remove the article "un" in this sentence 😉
Commercial breaks.
I didn’t know it, but I guess I live in a French section of the US.
I thought every European knew this .. except the Windy City maybe
They not like us
Why are they so long? One word….. money
When you want to flex ordering in french but you say "jillettes de canaj" (as the spanish j jota letter) instead of rillettes de canard. There is no such thing as canaχ meat, Madame. Not χillettes either. But French people do love ʁillettes de canaʁ for sure!
Can we delete the electoral college???!! Because WHY.
That explains why i feel that the us is in election every single year
To be fair to the US, the person in France has paid so much taxes that had that been saved, you could have lived off of that for a good while.
Main reason is that unlike almost everywhere else in the world the US has no limit on campaign funding. 2020 presidential election did cost around 15 billion dollar. In comparisson all parties combined spend around 90 million on the last parliamentary election in germany
That's definitely a reason to move to US (irony off).
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I am French, and I would be so enthusiastic to order in spanish in a Mexican restaurant. Anyways it would sound so unnatural to pronounce quesadillla or jalapeños the English way. It would sound weird and fake to me both because English is not even my default accent but also because I like the Central and Southern American way to pronounce spanish over the Spain way. Don't want to lose any oppoortunity to practice my 8 years of spanish.
Lol nah you’re not getting a pension by the time you get to pension age, but that’s the case basically everywhere in the west at this point
Ok but French lady isn’t wrong 😂
not linkedin sounding like they temporarily hopped over to japan 😭😭 honestly though, the french pronunciation of words is one of my favourite things, i used to have a french housemate and hearing her say “✨fuk✨” was the funniest and sweetest thing ever 🤣 still love her, she is amazing
I know someone named nutella
California is a failed social experiment. More homeless and drugs than anywhere in the US
So, mass exodus to France...
I feel like USA always has some election going on or talk about some election coming on. And then I feel like in my country we had like couple election since I turned old enough to vote.
So people forgett that the us is like muuuuuuch bigger in size then these countrys?
O shoot! You talked about Biden 😂😂
Yeah, it’s like presidents are too busy campaigning for half of their term to actually be president.
LOL sad but true. Ugh, god, I want off this timeline. There's no way these two self-absorbed, 80+ year olds are the best we can do.
The pay, maybe I can deal with…but no air con and I’m out yall. It’s true. I travel so much to Europe and the a/c is awful.
Biden’s family are literally the only people left telling him to stay in office
💰💰💰 it takes time for all the lobbyists and special interests to get their bribe, I mean, "campaign contributions" in....
Thank you
US is different in that we only have scheduled elections (e.g., 4 years for presidents, 6 for senators, 2 for congress). In European-style systems, “snap elections” can be called suddenly, naturally giving candidates less time to campaign.
In france they say goodbye by calling your mother a whore
