Hollie should have gotten at least into top 3 - I think had she the chance to have more training and experience, she would sound better than Carrie Underwood (whose voice has a somewhat harsh tone and is not a very strong singer anyway). Of course life is never fair, a small select few rise to the very top while the rest remain as the average unknown on the street. For that matter even talented artists who were well-known for a period during their heyday are barely remembered today ... some female artists that come to mind are Tammi Terrell, Minnie Riperton, Suzanne Vega etc.

I really agree which Hollie was the whole package, voice, look and everything was working on her! First, she wasn't my favorite contestant but Jessica was, but when she came up with Jesus, takes the wheel, Hollie climb up in my list. She easily became my first favorite contestant in 2012 along with Skylar Laine! Her favorite performances (in my opinion) : 1. Jesus, take the wheel - Top 9 2. The Climb - Top 6 (2nd song) 3. Bleeding Love - Top 5 (2nd song) 4. Rolling in the Deep - Top 7 (1st performances) 5. Perfect - Top 7 Another reason, I love Skylar Laine is because she was country! At 2015, I just realized, country music was my favorite music so after I rewind all their performances, easily Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine are my Top 2 in my opinion, my Top 5 for AI 2012 1. Hollie Cavanagh, no need a word to say why I am putting Hollie as the winner 2. Skylar Laine, Wind Beneath My Wings, Didn't You Know How Much I Love You, Shameless are my favorite performances, so she really deserve the runner up place. I would like to hear more of Skylar 3. Colton Dixon, I am puting Colton in Top 3 not because he is handsome LOL, but yes he can sing and he was one of my favorite Christian singer. Bad Romance is my favorite performance 4. Jessica Sanchez, even many people love Jessica so do I, but after I realized what my music style is, Jessica go down to number 4 in my list but she still deserve the Top 5. I Will Always Love You and Everybody Has A Dream are my favorite performances 5. Joshua Ledet or Elise Testone, both of them deserve the Top 5, in my list, they are equally the same

Potato Chip season 10 was my first real season and I loved it this was my second favorite
