Hello, I got the same "Drive to worship do not change gear" I mistakenly turned off the engine, AND it didn't start back, so I had to call AA, and the gut told me that they can't tow it, so he decided to take off the battery (which was hell getting behind the passenger seat without being able to push it forward due to it being electric) so AFTER about 30 mins, he put the battery back and it started WITHOUT the drive to workshop error. That was 2 week's ago, I haven't SEEN thr error sign since. Do i need to change what u did as well as a precaution?

My 2007 w221 has the same issue will this cause the car not to start? it is not cranking not shifting ? the shifting selector has no square over the letters? i scan it but i could not figure out what is wrong ?

I just bought this car and love it❤dont have this problem but if i do i know how to fix it but does anyone have a problem when your automatic and you start to accelarate and it makes noise like its pulling really hard but takes a few seconds to gain speed? Because when i got my drivers license i learn in manual and im not sure how automatic works if thats a normal thing or not actually any advice would be appreciated

Then i did the same thing you did, and it was like in your case: The upper Control arm ( Ball Joint ). I got one from Febi Bilstein ( German Brand ) for 117€ 😂 then replaced both sides in the front, and the noise was gone! Thank you so much, because no one knew and searched for the cause: They told me it could be the Wheel bearing, it could be the lower control arm, it could be the control arm pointing to the front of the car, could be the swaybar bushings or the swaybar connecting rods 😂 No one cares about the problems of the customer, just want to make money. Very sad 😢 I drive a W220 S320 from 2000 by the way with 287.000 km 😊

Or you can get an oil filter remover that grips the oil filter housing like there is no tomorrow whenever you turn it. Been using it to a housing like that with smooth edges when I cant get it to turn loose.

I can't understand how Renault can put into production a design feature where drainage obstruction can result in failure of essential actions eg. w/wipers - the drainage ports in the wells of the window wiper compartment are quite inadequate in size. As in my case were I'm parked under much tree canopy with extreme leaf collection in there but I'm always clearing the wells from debris?

Also the engine vibrates alot before the chain was replaced. Is that normal on a bad timing chain in the n47 that the engine shakes and vibrate from a bad timing chain ? Mine is now in the garage for a new timing chain and she vibrates a little I guess that comes from the chain
