Can we see the whole score next time?
Musescore has been a real problem recently, ill see what i can do.
@@lopunnovaWell that is its defining quality! If you have a video editing suite, you can also export as PNG and use simple transitions between pages :D
@@admiralthrawn717 good to know. thank you!!! :0
Thank you so much! This piece is done really well! It really feels like the original version by tchaikovsky! Thank you so much again!
Of course!
This is quite good. I think with musical elements like the runs it's important to consider more strongly the intended effect than it is the notes themselves. For instance, a lot of these runs are written for the celesta, intended to give a starry, ethereal effect. Now consider the clarinet - what can a clarinet do to produce an ethereal effect within the confines of the instrument? The chord is already spelled out in the rest of the ensemble. Use the fifth instrument to provide the sparkle in a way unique to it. I think that's the approach you should take in these instances. It will be less literally translated, but it may be more effective and playable.
No way a flute can play altissimo c in piano unless you’re like an insane pro
The oboe goes into a very uncomfortable high range at some parts, same with flute. I'd recommend taking both down an octave in parts like 4:00 because of this. I get wanting it to be dramatic but it sounds strained on the real instruments.
Especially C7 on flute. It's possible but it's very hard to control and even harder to make melodic.
I’m doing this for strings and dear god the piccolo register makes so many problems! (Also about what others said about the tempo, I believe that all it says is vivace which just means lively technically. Most performances actually play it outside of that vivace range like 144) But nice job!
How did you do this with 4/5 parts!? I did this for strings and I had anywhere from 5-10 parts at a time. Wonderful work here!
condensed the score A LOT.
soprano part seems a LITTLe difficult
baba o'riley (alternate take)
please do not be afraid to use bass clef for some of the lower horn stuff. Ledger lines are very difficult to read.
what the butt this is so good 7 likes insane. Can I buy this somewhere?
Thank you so much! All of my arrangements are free, and I would be glad to send a pdf to you! Just shoot me an email!
As a horn player, I must confess it's very hard because of the large range, yet it's really relevant when we hear it. Great job (maybe juste few things scattered in the sheet need to be rearranged for basson or oboe) !
These arrangements are really quite good.
Outstanding arrangement! 👏👏
Flute and Piccolo changes impossible for one player
How do I get a hold of the sheet music for this, and, are there other movements that have been transcribed as well?
I would gladly send you the music through email and such, and I have written almost every movement. Saturn is near completion, and I am half-way on Mars. Thanks! Email me at npd929@gmail.com
Pity the bassoon part is often obscured.
2:42 wait, horns can play that low?? Especially those rhythms and that tempo?
It is within horn range, and double tounging could be used, or a really fast single tongue.
@@lopunnova oh cool, I didn't know they could play that low
Horns have a 4 octave range for those who work at it. But in reality, very little is written in bass clef for horns, even though they can reach it easily. Titanic Fantasy was for 12 horns and they used the 4 octave range.
Good job overall, but there are some issues that need to be resolved before this can be playable.
plz do saturn next! that one is my favorite music
Awesome arrangement but the high a to C sharp tremolo on bassoon would be a pain
Oh, but the 32nd notes in the key of B Major are doable? lol
i would switch to piccolo for a lot of these sections, the flute part gets way too high to comfortably play at any other volume than ff
Some of the oboe trills are virtually impossible to execute (eg trills up and down an octave - can't really be done). I wonder about some of the bassoon and horn writing too.
Yeah I tried to play this on oboe and it didn’t go too well…
i realized this along with the c sharp tremolos on clarinet, i will think about fixing it
I tried all of this on oboe, it's amazing but yea those trills are smth else
@@Yello96486 my fix is try the e to e trill as a b to e instead
@@lopunnova ah that'll work, amazing as always
This is amazing
thank you!
Agreed, from an oboist
@@Yello96486 same bestie just made my first reed today
@@phantom8856 omg the memories of my first reed
the flute shouldn’t be in the fourth octave C as often in wind quintets, i’d switch to piccolo
I switch to piccolo for the C# and then for the end
the flute taking the melody at 2:45 is weird, it should be an octave lower so maybe the clarinet or french horn?
it makes it feel more eerie, musescore flute just doesnt project well in the low register...
Hi @Iopunnova! What instrument do you play, out of interest?
clarinet :D
as a bit more clarification though, i have played all of these instruments (at a high-level high school proficiency), and i know my way around all of them. I am most comfortable with clarinet, horn, and flute, in that order. the double reeds are still very new to me, but bassoon would be my strongest out of them :)
i will pay someone a million bucks if they can do that horn run in 3:25 perfectly
that makes 2 million XD
@@lopunnova i can do it on mellophone lmao
in some parts you forget to change notes relevant to the key change, for instance the flute at the main melody, the notes in the key is E but it’s should be Eb
Im excited to hear/read the rest of the planets :)
thank you! been finishing some finals and performances, so things have been VERY delayed.
beautiful! this is my favorite of the planets :)
thank you! rip clarinet tho💀
@@lopunnova FRRRRR
@JojoFanatica Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Horn, Bassoon (in that order)
Sounds good, buts it's too fast
thats marked tempo
a little too quick to be realistic
i wrote it at marked tempo :)
